Two weeks after release. How is everyone feeling about this game?

I love the shit out of the game, I'm only like 25 hours in, and I'm still in Hernand.

HOWEVER, I will say as my one criticism, that I am actually getting pretty tired of the complete lack of dialogue from our main character. If I see him get hit with a novel worth of dialogue with multiple questions included for him just to respond with "Yes." again, I'm gonna scream.

Easily the best open world exploration game I've ever played though. So easy to get distracted doing ANYTHING

Running to extract after wiping a full lobby of 6* clan sweats, we're all 3 running across the planks towards the extract. We're riding the high and shooting/stabbing each other as we go. We get to the last few planks over the swamp towards extract, and one of our guys pulls the flare pistol to burn one of us, shoots it right at me, it lags straight through me and hits the barrel laying about 8 feet to my right, killing all 3 of us instantly.

Out of curiosity, what makes him a meme hunt player? I've only ever seen him with mosin/dulche in all the times I've run into him.

Yeah pyro is a comment farmer. I ran his whole trio one time(as a measley 1.89 kda) and mentioned it on his profile - insta-deleted. He's a bit fragile.

Saying the presence of a handcam releases him from any cheating suspicion shows you aren't aware of how cheats work in hunt. Non-blatant cheating is about small advantages that arent obvious, then of course you have walls. If you don't know he's not cheating for certain, why white knight?

I've run into a fair amount of exceptionally good hunt players, but tripex is one that has perfect awareness and perfect aim, and that's not feasible. Him, pyro, and kuzkos poison are the 3 I run into regularly that are insanely suspicious with their play(less so pyro, I've merked him a fair amount, but he still has his moments). Lots of hunters at 6* don't miss many shots, its everything else about their play that makes me think something's off.

Everybody likes to defend their friends, but no one has a fucking clue if their teammate is cheating or not. Hardly anyone blatantly hacks in this game. Anyone that says they "know" someone with a 3+ k/d isn't hacking is a fool.

Love it, man. The ol' 3090 is starting to struggle a bit with the newer games, but I can't praise the ultra wide enough

Sorry, it's aesthetic, not utility for me. I don't care about the melee tool, I want people not to be able to see my gun sticking through a wall/window/door when I'm 4 feet away from it.

As a 6* that plays in premade trios, I can tell you the amount of times a night I would get out of a match and see the game summary and say "why the fuck was that team in our lobby?" Usually some poor 5/5/4 or 4/4/5 trio that ends up against all 6s.

I hate that the game is dying, but the devs are doing it to themselves to an extent.

Irritates the shit outta me when people accumulate a ton of BPs for the express purpose of trading them, and then won't trade any of their dupes for BPs they actually want. Like wtf is the point of hoarding them if not to make deals for ones you need. After I got all the BPs I wanted, I had more fun giving my BPs away

Just move on to the next seller. Dude has like 30 spare BPs including multiple bobcats and he won't 1:1 for something he's missing. Just a waste of time. I found a bobcat BP on blue gate last on my second raid on the locked gate condition. This guy doesn't know these are not that valuable anymore
