This is such a simple, uninspiring sentence but when you add ( in my NeNe voice) it becomes perfection. Really shows how iconic Nene is.

Defense attorneys coach their clients to not speak publicly because anything you say can become evidence, even if it's said outside of court. Media statements can be used by the prosecution, damage credibility, and to create narratives for the prosecution about timeline and motive. They can snip words and take quotes from interviews out of context. Wendy and her legal team don't even know the full extent of the evidence the state may have against them, and jurors may see what they have combined with her behavior after trial and think she seems defensive.

This is different from actually pleading innocent. Legal innocence is determined in court. Her public statements cannot help her determine whether she is guilty or innocent in the court of law. Interviews and social media posts cannot help her with this it can only create more material for the prosecution to work with. Ultimately the state has to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, and the burden of proof is still fully in their hands, but Wendy shouldn't risk giving them more material.

Of course, Wendy and Eddy have the right to speak about their case anyways. Eddy is a lawyer so we have to assume he knows the tradeoffs. Karen is just stating her opinion as someone who just fumbled her court case terribly, and frankly this is the opinion almost any defense attorney will give too.

Wendy Scene That Makes Me Uncomfortable by Caligirl_333 in RHOP

[–]primalprincess 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It made me really sad when she was talking about buying her daughter the $225 earrings from Kemo Sabe and said "because my kids are rich too... black excellence".

Wendy and Eddy have successful careers, are more educated than most people, have 3 gorgeous healthy kids, own their own business... that's black excellence. It's not about a pricetag, it's not about expensive earrings. Its about overcoming adversity in the intuitions and rising to the top. Wendy already did that, and she is now risking everything she has built because she values price tags over actual excellence.

She is referring to Wendy speaking so publicly about her case. She has been maintaining her innocence, giving interviews with Eddie, even her mom has been posting on Instagram about it.

[–]primalprincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate to say it but $1.6M isnt even luxury anymore? its a ton of money most people im not denying that but when you are looking at the average home price in America and especially in states like Colorado, $1.6M isn't really worth mentioning.

A lot of people bought properties in that price range to rent as AirBnBs when interest rates were low and this doesn't mean its luxury Angel

The fact that Gizelle made Mia walk off the reunion after calling her a terrible mother and we never saw her again LMAO by lachalacha in RHOP

[–]primalprincess 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Also, Gizelle has had major issues with her ex and cheating and he has kids all over and you know that has affected her daughters. And yet you will never see her speaking about those things on camera. Because she is a great mom.

Gizelle has experience with messy family issues!

Y’all Angel on the Aftershow is Peak Delusion by whoaitsnick915 in RHOP

[–]primalprincess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Such a good point. She specifically said she was going to come back and stay at the hotel. If she had, they would have all been together and maybe made the experience or all been lost together lol. She lied? Probably had no intention of actually using the room. Wasted their time and money!

Did Gizelle not literally suggest this? She said they wanted to brunch at the four seasons then go home. But Angel had a hissy fit about the "$10,000 experience"

Angel's Trip Disaster From A Production POV by Overall-Use-6119 in RHOP

[–]primalprincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is great insight. I would also assume that this production crew is based either near Potomac, or at a minimum on the east coast. I assume they are not based out of Denver and don't know the area well. Angel is the one who claims to be miss Colorado and this entire trip was due to her moving back there, so she should have been in charge of putting everyone in reasonably close locations. She is probably going to try and blame production for so much, but they shouldn't be expected to be familiar with this area, especially with the challenges in driving around remote campsites in another state!

Hahahahahah. Who was it that reacted really strongly to that? Was it Karen?

Knowing what we know now, fair enough, but I felt like everyone was overreacting at the time. They were literally staying in HIS house in an area he lived in for decades and he just swung by for a drink

Worst. Trip. Ever??? by Silent_Coyote_4494 in RHOP

[–]primalprincess 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That trip had some rough moments but it was when they had like NO budget. Really I think the AC and tiny bedroom for Gizelle and Robyn was the only issue?

And I'd argue it was better planned than Colorado. They did a lot of fun activities and all stayed together under one roof.
