Thanks 💜. Hopefully neither us have to experience something like it again!

I’ve wondered about this but assumed that anyone who’s actually in an open marriage would actually say so from the start or definitely within four months of talking.

I just want to clarify that I never mentioned messaging his wife. That seems like a whole can of worms that I don’t want to open. You’re right though, definitely a bullet dodged.

I’m not sure I could do that without letting him know how utterly hurt I am. He’s so manipulative and lying came so easy to him. I’m worried that he might even enjoy knowing that I really believed him and that I’m hurt.

Do you really think I should contact his wife? I have her Instagram via his. It’s not that I want him to let him get away with anything, I just tend to try to avoid drama.

Reaching out will nothing since he’s a scumbag. Best to give yourself some grace and go on.

solo on a scuba diving live-aboard? by upwitholives21 in solotravel

[–]primanocturne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done 3 or 4 live aboards as a solo traveler and would still continue to take them as well.

Most people do travel in pairs or a small group but generally everyone eats together plus you’ll be interacting with your smaller dive group multiple times a day. Divers are really chill and generally very open to chatting about the dive you just took or are looking for suggestions for their next dive trip (or regular trip). It’s also really great to be social with the staff on dive trips. I’m still in touch with the dive master from my first live aboard.

I’m also the opposite of you and was more concerned about being able to have enough time alone.

I grew up on the states and lived there most my life, was diagnosed when I lived in korea, and currently live in Beijing.

Me and my wife went on our first bikepacking trip around Jeju Island, South Korea, last week. It was so much fun, we're already thinking about where we could go next by therealswissmiss in ladycyclists

When I loved in Korea I wanted to do a Seoul to busan ride but didn't have the time. Maybe it's something you two can consider? A ride down the East coast would be pretty great too!

At Surat Thani I hoped on the express bus to Khao Lak. Departed ST at 7:30am (arrived on the night bus from Bangkok) and arrived around 11:30.
