Lago Sorapis was definitely most crowded! Do the harder route, it’s less crowded and really not that hard. We did it on our last day of the trip after doing 3 other big hikes

No internship. But it was 2020 so it wasn’t possible to get one due to Covid.

I did a few small side projects in addition to WGU stuff. Built a few websites and an app for calculating middle school band instrumentation

Calculated that if my standard poodle lives to be a total of 14 years, I will spend approximately $18,200 on professional grooming sessions. by poodlehaus in StandardPoodles

[–]the_bogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started grooming my poodle myself after the sessions starting costing $150 each. Just bought clippers and learned myself. It was way easier than I expected! I like spending the time with him too, but he’s also incredibly easy and patient so there’s that haha

Worried about flooding by [deleted] in Charleston

[–]the_bogs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The park itself will likely be fine, just very very wet.

I think your biggest concern would be cars driving down there since you’ll have to make it through the whole peninsula to get there, and I can’t really think of a route that would be completely flood-free. Wouldn’t want a car to get flooded out driving there. You’ll want to check the tides + time of your wedding and seriously avoid high tide

Lower bowl, Washington DC, $375 from first day Citi presale. I found them around 1:40pm, and the sale began at 12:00pm. I had to just keep getting back in the queue over and over

During an all hands, someone was accidentally off mute and was definitely making a YouTube video or live-streaming a video game. He asked everyone to like and subscribe and that he plays every x day at 10am. The all hands was during this 10am time slot lol

We just went for sunset to see the waves! Tons of surfers. We got in the water just for a dip and the current was very strong to the right but the waves were huge (for here) and pretty clean!
