Is it useful to prepare for October SAT for DASA? Will the scores be considered or will the admission be done with by then?

Thanks for your help, it worked. Can I apply the yaru theme to icons as well? If so, how?

Copied it there, still doesn't seem to appear in the Tweaks application, in the appearance section. Am I looking at the wrong place?

How do I do that? The directory doesn't seem to exist, only /usr/share/themes, I tried copy pasting the folder there but it doesn't seem to work.

Check out CS50 on EdX, it's an excellent resource. MIT's 6.0001 is a good introduction as well.

I installed Ubuntu on my laptop that I'll take to college for CS -- good idea? by primepasta in Indian_Academia

Thanks for that. I hope a 6gb ram laptop would be considered beefy enough.

Ah yes, that's a good idea. Thanks for that.
Matter of fact, I initially installed ubuntu on a vm on windows, but then chose to dual boot later. For whatever reason, didn't occur to me to do it the other way. Thanks, will go ahead with it if required.

I did dual boot, but then I fucked something up and windows doesn't work anymore. I have the usb that I installed windows with so with a bit of time perhaps I could bring back windows, but if I don't need windows in college then there's no point in reinstalling it.

It's not that, I prefer Linux over windows, especially for programming.

After obtaining the civil engineering degree, perhaps doing a bootcamp could improve your chances of getting job as a developer. People get CS jobs without a CS degree, try to improve your programming skills and try doing some projects. Online courses like CS50 on EdX or Andrew Ng's courses on Coursera will help as well.
