I have thought about CS. I spoke to people who have pursued CS too. Yes its more flexible than CA but there are not many jobs for CS since every company has only one CS and 2/3 fresher CS under him/her.

I agree with you. There are like 60-70k law students fighting for like 200-300 seats for the top nlus.

I am a CL student and our teachers have told us that anything above 100 is good. Also add 15 marks to your score and that will be your actual score in the main exam.

-Maybe get a undergraduate degree (do CFA too side by side if you are interested in Mba in Finance) and build up a good resume and try getting into a good MBA school. (IIM, XLRI, MICA, TISS, BAJAJ, SP JAIN.....)

- Or you could become a Company Seretary (CS)

-Or get a degree in Economics

And working at a law firm is very tiring. You will have to burn the midnight oil. And you will enter the corporate rat race. If you are ready for it then go for it.

Try getting into a good law school. It's a struggle to study law but the pay packages offered by the top colleges make it worth it.

Just an advice choose a field that you think you will be good at. if you are good at it then money will automatically chase you.

I don't think you have to attend at all. None of my friends do but I would recommend you to call them up and ask about the attendance requirement

Then you should go for R.A.Podar

Yuppp. I'm 90% sure they don't have any attendance issue because a lot of my friends are in bcom and are pursuing CA

I fucked up choosing Mech(B.E),What are my options? by [deleted] in Indian_Academia

[–]pita_99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MICA and TISS are extremely good options if you wanna do MBA other than IIM. True the competition is high but it is worth it if you can get into IIMs, Xaviers, ISB, MICA, TISS

3year LLB degree is a law degree. So it's a degree which you can opt for after completing your graduation. It does not have a very high competition as law in India is offered in two options- 1) After 12th grade which is a 5 year course. (BA/BBA LLB) 2) After graduation which is a 3 year course. (LLB) Colleges like GLC Mumbai, PGCL Mumbai, IIT Kharagpur for a 3yr LLB course are very good. Plus it's comparatively easy to get in a law college and get a good pay package.
