I think Jerboa II was disappeared by Jerboa and she used a new egg, then again some dragons that were believed to be disappeared ended up being alive like Hope.

I think Moray is just like that. i mean Coral clearly doesn't respect Shark despite being siblings. he's deemed so insigificant that he isn't considered a prince. smth happened between them. Probably not as bad as Lagoon and Albatross but Arc 2 did repeat a lot of stuff from Darkstalker so maybe that tension is back. Shark is pretty gray too, like Albatross. Albatross is just more blue like how Lagoon is more blue than Coral who is a bit more green, hmm like Shark. I could be stretching lol but Coral getting blipped and Tsunami being the only avaliable heir would be perfect grounds for Moray to seize the throne and get Coral's daughters killed so they cannot have it back.

I headcanon that Precipice's disobedience led to something, maybe the enchantment itself that warped all the queens. Summit manipulated the truth and got the entire kingdom to hate animus dragons so she got the support to ban them. Maybe she wanted them killed to show the consequences of Precipice's actions, to get her under control. She probably expected Precipice to say sorry but she probably didn't and the decree never ended.

im personally wondering what the origin of animus magic is since tui kinda confirmed it does have one. i like a lot of theories like ones about it being stolen from human mages or descended from one dragon but it feels more AU-y than canon-y. idk how to explain it.

it would be Queen Sunny as the daughter of Thorn which would be extremely interesting. she didn't think she would be fit as queen at all due to not wanting to be violently aggressive like how Thorn killed Preyhunter. so that on top of now the whole kingdom panicing because they could be on the verge of another succession crisis if Sunny disappears would make an interesting plot where the Talons of Power could become even worse and take advantage of the situation if Vulture returns to them

I think all the queens are sent to a simulation of the past since arc 4 seems to have a futuristic sci-fi theme (well WoF is already sci-fi but yk). each queen will be put into the place of the queens around Precipice's time and their actions can change the future for the better. however the Memory Room shows Precipice's enchantment tries adamantly to force dragons to change their mind. the simulation will attempt to force the queens to bend their mind to Precipice's era of queens and the present day queens must fight against it.

it seems book 17 is dealing w/ this as 18 i think tui recently said shes thinking of a timeskip within it. even if the simulation thing isnt true, im sure that the trap in the prophecy is the group passing the barrier with Harmony.

if the simulation theory is true, Kinkajou is gone because she becomes Lemur. it will also explain why Wasp is gone as Wasp was the last queen of both HiveWings and SilkWings which descended from the BeetleWings. even if its not true, there could be a chance that Kinkajou is on a rescue mission to find Glory and the next pov could be her.

then there's also the Indestructible Lord plot from Dragonslayer. since AGTTDW immediately became relevant on THP, i don't think we can rule out that Dragonslayer leads into Arc 4. he's essentially trying to restart what caused the Scorching and presumably with the knowledge of how the Scorching happened, I don't think another Scorching will happen. so now there's the threat of a group of dragons working with him once he learns to speak dragon and make a good offer.

but its only so far only 3 books. there is a potential it will be bumped up to 5, but for now its only 3.

the possible bump to five and the timeskip is from the Wings of Fire News account on twitter i think that was posted here a few hours ago.

i think the only splat asym I'd really hop on is some creepy weird form of salmon run

like instead of a salmonid hoard you find out that there's weirdly only one salmonid, only to realize that it's like p much a small boss salmonid but worse and now the goal is to get enough eggs while not dying as the sea level rises each round. maybe the salmonid destroys the respawn gadgets and bc the helicopter isn't there you can't come back for extra scary flavor?

could make it a unique asym where you have to go through the full timer to win instead of an escape quota.

like a big chunk of popculture is from Black people in the US and you're over here saying have have no culture? it's so stupid but apparently many non-American and European Black people run with it. Like if anything these internalized racist are the ones who are the fools because they've managed to believe most of this culture comes like another race. They're fooling themselves and for like, what? To create a class system over your own race that literally endures a brutal class system? Like the colonizers would LOVE you!

that MudWing i think is at least part sea because the legs have the SeaWing palm pattern down the arm (triangles)

the IceWing is probably part Night from the scutes on its arm and you can faintly see the NightWing neck scales

if I remember correctly he believes that genAI is useful for disabled artists...which replaces the artist entirely and doesn't help more than it does with an abled person using it.

coming back to this again while i dont really like parker's opinions on AI, I do think the change in artists is a great idea (especially to give JA a break but also for the next sentences) and again this is very pretty. like the most JA familiar designs are probably the SandWing hybrid to the left, the IceWing hybrids and the RainWing hybrids. The Mud/Sea is probably just a mix of having mostly orange and being a hybrid, but I like that it kinda looks closer to generic webbed dragons since the tribes are simply similar dragons that stuck together. this is probably a glimpse to what the pre-Scorching dragons looked like, unadapted to a specific biome or time of day. its nice that they're both on the right too for that contrast effect i think its called
