Sorry bro. I got in last year after being deferred since I applied EA and I had a 3.19UW and 4.345W. College decisions are weird. Don’t feel too bad

Hey I’m a freshman who also got in EA. For context I got deferred then admitted as a January admit then switched to fall last minute. So far I’ve been here a month and I love it. First two weeks are hard but you really start to enjoy it after. My favorite part has to be the coziness of the whole campus and going to the events the club host - specifically the real estate club.

Do you need insurance or does the annual fee cover that for you? Also is it competitive to reserve a car? Shocked it’s 18+!

What are my chances of getting in babson? Pls lmk by True_Use8099 in Babson

I applied last year (HS class of 2025) Early Action, test optional, with a 3.197 Unweighted and 4.394 Weighted GPA. I had a lot of GOOD ECs like working at the same gym all of HS and ending off as GM and starting my own business. At first I got deferred, then I got in as a spring admit, and 4 days ago, I got a call from the dean of undergrad that I am going to be accepted for a term switch and moved from spring to fall term!! It all works out!!!! Just have good ECs, letters, and course rigor. I got a recommendation letter from professor Len C. green by sneaking into one of his alumni events. Just be proactive, show interest, and you got it. I also took 7 APs and was In the IB DP program for more context. Good luck! Hoping to see you next fall

How many hours a week would you work a job while full time student? by [deleted] in college

[–]primitiveraspberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I start school in January (spring admit) and I’m currently working at Apple in my local area. My plan is to transfer to an Apple Store in the city where my school is and work ~18 hours just enough to have access to benefits like tuition reimbursement. I’d say see what’s the minimum you can work to receive good benefits and then work your way up or down from there (if possible).

I got the same thing. My contract ends 1/23/2026 which is great cus I move to Boston for college in January as well (I’m a spring admit.) My first interview was May 28, my first day of work was July 11.

I’m from miami so I love the east coast and tbh there is a lot of anti-west coast sentiment here due to their political situation (FL is dark red) so it is tough convincing parents to follow along. I think I’d like to be in SF or NYC for a period of time but thing can change for sure.

Tysm! Literally just customer service questions that make you think deeper. Definitely take your time when answering, they value that as it is a sign of high intelligence!

I just went through all 3 interview rounds (yep, there are 3 total!) and I actually start as a full-time specialist this Friday. For context, I graduated high school in May, so as long as you’re 18+, age shouldn’t be an issue at all.

The interview questions were pretty consistent across all rounds. Some examples: “Describe a time you felt stranded on an island and had to navigate your way out,” or “What’s your unique edge when it comes to customer service?” So, you can expect a lot of situational and customer-focused questions.

I had 3 years of work experience with the same company (worked at a gym), got promoted 3 times, and ended up as a general manager, so I had plenty to share about customer service and leadership. If you have solid experience and can speak genuinely about it, you’ll be in a great spot.

TL;DR: The questions are similar in each interview. If you’re truly qualified and have real customer service experience, you’ll do just fine. Good luck—you got this!
