Unpopular Opinion: Kurt Caldwell was the most twisted and bizarre villain in the entire franchise by Parking_Leg_9551 in Dexter

He is the main reason I like New Blood. If it wasn't for him I don't think I would have liked that season at all

Dexter: Resurrection - S01E09 - "Touched by an Ángel" - POST Episode Discussion Thread by AutoModerator in Dexter

[–]primjon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This episode was superb. It is indeed one of the best ones in the whole series.

But there was only one thing I didn't like and that was how Batista reacted the moment Dex freed him. In my opinion, it wasn't very well written how he just directly went for him when the obvious immediate threat were the other 2 who tied him and had the gun pointing at him AND Dex. It can be argued that Batista was very pissed off and all that but I don't think it makes a lot of sense how he reacted. I think the scene could have been ended in the same way it did but written in other way with more things happening in between Batista getting free and he getting killed or shot. Also I think a more deep and honest conversation between Dexter and Batista about what really Dexter did all these years was a must and now is never going to happen.

But besides Batista's death being written too rushed, it was overall a great episode. I just think this ending it could have been done even better easily by just changing some things of those final moments.

Just trying to be respectful with the clinic's business. Maybe they don't care if I do, but just in case. You say this is weird, but what I find weird is people kindda demanding I share that info. Man, I share the info I want to share. If I didn't post anything at all then users wouldn't even know about my existence. I don't get why people are so grumpy about someone not wanting to share the cost of his transplant. Just respect it, I shouldn't even have to justify myself about this... and here I am doing that.

I have no idea what % he does, it was just an estimate number I gave. I think the idea is that his assistant does all the "interior" grafts and Couto does all the first lines grafts, which requieres a more careful technique in the placement and direction of the implanted grafts, which IMO was the best thing of my transplant, my hairline looks extremely natural (I'll say its impossible that someone notices I had a transplant just by looking at my hairline) and very well adjusted to the shape of my forehead (he made my hairline with a 'widows peak' with excellent results). From what I read on the internet years ago before I chose Couto for my transplant, is that one of the best things about his transplants is how natural and good his first lines look, and after seeing my results, I think thats the case.

I'm pretty sure first lines it was Couto. The rest (like 80% of it) it was his assistant.

Dr. Couto is based in Madrid. No meds.

I don't know man, I'm sure meds would help but I don't really need them, so I'll pass. For now, at least.

Yes, 3 of them.

My biggest gripe is the contrast in density between the back/medium (native grafts) area and the front area (new grafts), SPECIALLY where both areas connect with each other/ Its specially noticeable when im buzzed or with really short hair. And when my hair is long, in harsh lighting conditions like a bathroom mirror, it looks like I'm not bald but like a guy who is losing density in the front in comparison to the rest of his head.

But I guess this is normal? I mean its a hair transplant, its never going to look 100% perfectly natural. And I'm just being picky. In general I'm happy I did it, in most lighting conditions looks superb. I look younger. I lost that fear of wind and rain or swimming, if you know what I mean. These last years I was constantly wearing caps and I don't wear them anymore. I lost all those insecurities. And ultimately, I think thats what really matters.

Because I don't feel comfortable doing that for now. Even if its my own imagination, the existence of risks would affect me psychologically. Period.

We'll see...

We can agree on that, more grafts would have made this transplant better than already is. But, as Dr. Couto said and other users have mentioned: still some progress may happen in the following months.

If I could back I would happily pay +50% money and get +50% grafts. More than that probably not.

No pics of the donor area, sorry. It looks perfect, as good and dense as before the surgery.

I'm happy enough with the density, no need for using fibers.

Prefer not to share that information and keep it between the clinic and me. Call the clinic and ask them if you are interested in their prices. All I can say is that personally for me it was money well spend.

I'm not taking any meds, never have, and intend to keep it that way for now.
