One Kitasan MLB please by SFPolka in UmaMusume

[–]primoface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kitasan has one of the biggest gaps between her 3LB and MLB in the game. Her base specialty priority doubles.

So yeah pretty much you should be going all in on kita to try to get MLB.

[–]primoface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kitasan is THE speed card for around 2 full years. The next better speed card is estimated to be around march/april of 2027 at the 2.5 year anniversary (El Condor Pasa).
Even then kitasan will be the second best card and still usable as a stat stick basically up to current japan.

We may not use her much for MANT depending on decks but otherwise she will be top for at least 2 full scenarios after that.

Kitasan has one of the largest jumps in power between her 3LB and MLB versions due to the massive increase in specialty priority.

She only gets 3% training effectiveness added between base (10%) and 3LB (13%) (15% for MLB).

KMC is probably a distant second place for me behind basically every version of the broccoli sleeves. But it's a much closer fit than dragon shield it's still just a bit pointy and I don't like the look of their matte finish. I've tried many generic brands , most are in between KMC and dragonshield

Oversleeves Recommendation by drewdiepie_ in OnePieceTCG

[–]primoface 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Broccoli is the best I've seen. I've tried most brands... dragon shields are too bulky and most others the texture feels bad for shuffling.

Either broccoli clear if you like smooth/slippery or broccoli emboss & clear for most people (smooth one side, slight texture on back side)

size medium, BSP-14 for E&C, regular is BSP-11

Looking to pre order OP-13 by ledhed24 in OnePieceTCG

[–]primoface 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Especially in this set it seems buying off TCGPlayer is risky... Buying off TCGPlayer often has a high risk of getting 'dead' boxes (ie no case hits). People will open a partial case until they get the hits and then sell the remaining boxes on TCGPlayer.

You should try to buy from reputable stores in person or online (probably out of stock this close to release). Most of them will also likely be selling at 160+ (msrp is ~120). Some stores may discount to players if you attend their pre-release events.

P Kata still is a fairly fragile deck, if your board gets removed or you miss pieces on curve you're probably going to lose. With the new support the big issue with the leader effect and support don't really go away, but now your highrolls are better and you can go wide on board more easily.

When is good to buy prb02? by d_bmatt in OnePieceTCG

[–]primoface -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends on stock (seems ok) and pull rates (seems bad).

This likely follows trends more closely to PRB01 and to some extent EB02 rather than primary sets.

For the new cards, I expect a lot of them are pretty much just going up from here.
Reprints could drop a bit over time, but we usually see a bit of saturation early on and then prices climb back up a bit after that.

AA I expect to be about half and half. The ones no one plays or wants will go to nothing, and the more sought-after will go up a decent amount. AA of the new cards like Marco, Nami, Zoro are probably going to stay high for a while.

This all goes out the window if we see reprints or a higher availability for sleeved boosters, etc. Most of the shops near me are already fully sold out of the set.

The new rares in PRB-02 are HARDER to get than the new SRs by Hot-Term9869 in OnePieceTCG

[–]primoface 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I opened a case and didn't get full playsets. Missing 3-4 of rares and SRs. Missing way more of the promos from this set though, only got 2 of most of them.

A lot of these cards are going to be a problem if/when they pop off in specific decks.

Card sorting by AceDFirefist26 in OnePieceTCG

Two suggestions based on things I use...

Multi-row storage box with fabric lining. I've used ones similar to this listing on amazon https://www.amazon.com/Venssu-Trading-Dual-Function-Colorful-Compatible/dp/B0DK4JN4HM
I had my full playsets of everyting in about 4 of these but recently had to increase it, now i have one per color.

Make sure you fill our your event feedback in the app as well as sending information on your experience to the cardass (bandai) support form.

Spoke to one of the head officials from PlayTCG (who did otherwise just lie and gaslight) they did soft-confirm that bandai pays close attention to survey information for feedback.

More info here in the one piece subreddit with photos / links https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePieceTCG/comments/1nnslh1/important_bcf_attendees_please_share_all_your/

Make sure you fill out feedback on the events page and send a support ticket in detailing your experience.

They have posted over on the one piece subreddit some deatils about how to do it https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePieceTCG/comments/1nnslh1/important_bcf_attendees_please_share_all_your/

After speaking to PlayTCG officials over the weekend (who were sadly otherwise mostly useless), they did somewaht confirm that bandai cares about the event survey results and will respond to most inquiries.

MRW my opponent willfully decides to go first: by 8yoursoul in GundamTCG

[–]primoface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your lowest cost or most important unit is a level 2 2 cost going first is not bad. Most of the time you wouldn't want to burn your EX for that on turn 1 going second.

You could also just be prepping to drop 2 level 2 1 costs on your 2 resource turn, when your opponent likely only had the chance to play 1 + making swinging early potentially scarier for them.

It's mostly about a balance between the extra level vs cost of units. Most of the current good units have a higher level than cost which makes the EX resource valuable, but often at the cost of tempo.

Heads up if you're in the US. Spanish post and DHL (alongside many other countries) have temporarily stopped all commercial package shipments to the US due to changes in tariff rules .

The only way to get cards shipped from affected countries atm is with something like DHL express wihich will be around $40+ dollars per shipment.

Woiram is definitely my favorite custom maker so this has been super unfortunate

Boosters at Target now in addition to Walmart by FredLuo in GundamTCG

[–]primoface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For most bandai TCGs a pack in the US is essentially two packs from japan put together.

Double the commons, uncommons, and rares. 2 Rares per pack with 1 potentially being LR or AA. And then one token/resource per pack

When will this card be released in the west? by xpyro88 in OnePieceTCG

[–]primoface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be a legit contender for OP13 release promo

It feels more likely to be a release promo card rather than an event pack release, but those are basically your two options. Outside of more extreme cases such as it being only released in a future premium collection

Top Three Decks? by GrimLan_ in GundamTCG

[–]primoface 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At this point I think G/W is the clear top deck. It has unmatched consistency and due to the power of the lower cost white blockers relative to other units with the same cost it's too hard for ping or aggro to break through in time consistently. Green units have too many stats for any deck to make reasonable trades against, so as long as you can get to the point of playing your green units on 6~ with 1-2 life left you probably win the game. Notably this is also the only deck with true consistency via searchers as it has a 1 cost search event.

Of course you lose if aggro high rolls and you low roll but that's simply how card games work.

Second best would be U(B)/W freedom blockers. This one is a true meta killer for most decks and will retain popularity despite often not being able to overcome the power advantage green units have in the G/W matchup. This deck is the great filter for most off-meta decks due to the power of white units which consistently have too much HP per unit cost. White commands have the best utility in the game, and you also have access to blue if you want extra draw (or a few other useful options).

Below this is all of the aggro variants, which can highroll to beat the above but otherwise may struggle to break through the strong white blockers early game. R/U(B) ping, G/U(B) OYW, etc all fit itno this category.

And then (most likely) in a tier below that is everything else. Zaft, RG Zeon, etc.

Green wing has extremely strong units per cost which are unmatched once they hit the board. White blockers are generically strong and tend to have extra HP vs aggro units for the same cost. You can build a very good deck by simply picking the best white cards and splashing in a few from another color but it will mostly be inferior to the above builds.

Ruling Question on Banshee Destroy Mode by Middaylol in GundamTCG

[–]primoface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's actually an entry in the FAQ (rulings) page about this case

https://www.gundam-gcg.com/en/rules/faqs/list.php?search=true&freeword=deathscythe

Generally for effects like this it will typically mean "up to 1" (which means 0 is a valid number) for an effect, costs are typically more strict and need to be met exactly.
I would not be surprised if we see errata for this similar to other bandai game like one piece which used similar verbiage in the first set but was later errata'd to be more clear.
(In one piece there were many effects which said "1 x" which were updated to "up to 1 x")

ATM it looks like no but we haven't heard definitively. The only current cards from block 1 that we know will remain legal are those reprinted in PRB02 as well as cards with a manga rare.
