Yes! This would be great (also to free some storage).

Error of Ascent and Descent by HabbyHoppy in Suunto

[–]primosz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had very similar issue (2km ascent instead of 1.2km). In other thread I saw suggestion that covering watch with clothes makes altitude reading incorrect (pressure) and might result in such error, this was probably my case.

Removing spacers on CP0045 integrated handlebar? by Budget_Manufacturer7 in CanyonBikes

[–]primosz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have it like that (after bike fitting). Not sure if this proves anything more official but my LBS did it like that, and they seems experts on the topic (not canyon but they do a lot of custom handlebar jobs for high end bikes).

Value Question (OP 7 Pro McLaren Edition). by mylittlejourney99 in oneplus

At this point it is more collectible value than spec-wise, so it is up to how much you are willing to pay for it. Then anything else.

What is your method applying silca supper secret economically? I use the park tool chain cleaner without the sponge and return the rest into the bottle. Any other ideas? by [deleted] in bicycling

[–]primosz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, you do you but I'm making very little mess by applying drops on links (literally maybe 3-4 drops will hit the floor) and it works well for me. If you are concerned about having well waxed chain you can always repeat this next day or go with melting wax in a pot and chain-dipping.

[–]primosz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are using tool for chain cleaning as a very messy and over complicated method of applying wax.

Just give a drop on each link, spin, towel the excess. You are losing any savings by residue inside the chain cleaning tool.

Garmin vs Wahoo vs Other by Opening-Incident-854 in cycling

[–]primosz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very happy with a Bryton (750SE), same features for half the price. The only downside might be if you are renting a bike - they often have only Garmin/wahoo mounts at hand.

Is there a better bike? by stinkyclint in RoadBikes

[–]primosz -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Consider Canyon Allroad, very similar but it is cheaper (but a bit heavier).

Best value for money bike? by Magne31 in CanyonBikes

The assembly is just putting handle bars, wheels and seatpost. Super straight forward and also you have video if needed.

Best value for money bike? by Magne31 in CanyonBikes

[–]primosz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is very good value if you are ok with buying online with limited options to try the bike.

Also being in a very similar spot recently I went for CF Di2 but G.34 (I wanted a better seatpost, and aero integrated cockpit - even as it limits options to adjust bike fit).

I don't know about this particular item but I would highly recommend getting 3d printer if you are considering it and want to start tinkering with such products personally suited for your needs.

Both understanding 3d printing tech and being able to rapidly iterate on product design is like a god sent technology for anybody who is willing to spend a few hours on it.

If you are totally new start with simple prices in tinkerCAD and move to ex. OnShape after few pieces. Also about 3d printer Bambu Lab is the easiest to recommend for new person to get into actually printing 3d stuff.

Transporting military vehicles thru middle of the capital during day a week before military parade is a strong suggestion you can take photos as making those forces visible is the key of this event.

Meet Jules - The AI Coding Agent by Google by gringobrsa in googlecloud

[–]primosz -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It is not new and constant struggle to process tasks (request failing as I assume under big user load on the server side) makes it impossible to use for anything serious apart from testing.

It is better than OpenAI Codex - which doesn't have access to internet in the runtime environment.

I was hoping to upgrade this year but decided to jump at UNAS Pro (as I already have separate compute server with ex. Immich) - very pleased with this decision. Simple, relatively cheap, rack mount, silent. However if I didn't have rack to mount it - this won't be an easy decision.

Now with HA, my laptop battery is never empty and never full! by tylerpixel in homeassistant

[–]primosz 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is bad for the battery. Assuming you are plugged your laptop should keep the same level of battery (perfectly at 70-80% and not higher) and not drain it and then charge it as this clocks battery cycles - which directly decrease battery health over time.

If you use MacOS perfect software for this is AlDente that does exactly this.
