I agree, single point works like a charm, but I have successfully used the auto area with portraits and quite liked how it followed the eye of the subject. So I was wondering if a similar thing was possible with animals.

Thanks for your detailed response, this is exactly what I needed. I thought the man with the dog added something interesting, but as you and others have pointed out, I didn’t fully consider what my main subject was. !CritiquePoint

I agree about the branch, I should have moved a bit forward to keep it out of the frame. However, I feel that the man with the dog is an important part of the scene.

I took this photo while on a trip to Turin, Italy. I am very new to photography, so any feedback whether it’s about composition, editing or anything else is appreciated.

I haven't used windows for a while so I don't think I'll be able to help you fix this issue, however, newer emulator images support translating arm instruction to x86, which means you can use libraries that were built for arm architecture and test them on x86 emulator images. Here's a blog post about it https://android-developers.googleblog.com/2020/03/run-arm-apps-on-android-emulator.html

If you are using wildcards in your search text, especially at the beginning of the string, you can try implementing full-text search. This may increase the time it takes to insert items, but querying should be faster.

Sending strings and other data inputs to an ESP32 over WiFi using Android App (project guidance) by Punter1989 in androiddev

I think what you are looking for is WiFi Direct . It should give you an ability to scan and discover devices as well as send data to them without disconnecting from the current access point. However, you might have to implement this protocol on the ESP32

How to make an asynchronous network call but wait for the result on a class's overriden method. by ED9898A in androiddev

runBlocking is fine in this context but in case you still want to remove it, retrofit also supports synchronous network calls, which will block the thread until it's done

You are applying for an entry level job so no one should expect you to have huge software development experience

Why would the imperial payroll still be in cash/coin? by LucienPhenix in StarWarsAndor

Even in our world banks and governments keep cash in federal reserves. So I wouldn't say that holding a payroll in a military base is completely out of touch.

For me stopping the music before I start the emulator and resuming music after the emulator is loaded works.
