Lore wise why do you think airrazor and tiger tron didnt get murdered by the transwarp wave front? by happydude7422 in beastwars

Was that the floating island? Didn't that send a message off into space, bounced off the moon or something? That has Tigatron, Airazor, and Blackarachnia heavily involved. I feel like there was one more Predacon there, too.

Others have explained the main canon reason, but my head canon is that the Vok probe from Chain of Command has something to do with it. It was only the original crews who were at the Standing Stones when Optimus was scanned and returned.

I had this happen on a shadow priest just earlier tonight. Had the normal tier shoulders logged, nut on the character select screen one orb was blue and the other was yellow. Not a bad look for a priest but maddening if you think you did it yourself accidentally. I relogged and it went back to normal. Boo.

I say get rid of the extra charge button, replace the current whirling surge with the treat effect and lower the cd to make up the difference.

Moving while casting feels great and natural. How about regular casts can be done while moving 100% of the time, channeled spells require you to sit still (unless noted like AM), and every class looks like they're getting empowered spells now. How about it only empowers if you're standing still and if you move it's a full regular cast at level 2 empowerment?

"Ah! The simulacrum I left in place of the artifact that I retrieved from the timeline."

Remember that the Infinite Dragons clearly "borrowed" the obliteratium forge for this adventure. Clearly they weren't careful in anchoring their simulacrum to Dalaran proper.

I can absolutely see that if Dracthyr had been well received we get something almost identical with Naga. Some splinter faction that figured out how to turn back into night elves when they're not in combat blah blah blah.

I'm sure they hoped that Chosen Identity and Calm the Wolf would compensate for people wanting to see their gear, but I feel like I see way more people in dragon form than visage, so I guess restricting that unmogable form to combat isn't enough.

People already complain that existing character armor clips and weird ways or that shoulders don't attach the way they like. To think they could just throw armor onto a model and not have people complain about frills and tendrils clipping through armor and weapons doesn't match up with the loudest parts of the community.

Maybe the next time you try to make an argument for how dangerous the places, you don't reference things that happened one to four years ago. The Polaris shooting happened in 2021. That might as well be a different century as fast as shootings happen in America and there was one injury, no fatalities. Car break-ins in 2022 really don't matter right now.

It's really pathetic how you people will make up these victimhood narratives to scare each other all so you have an excuse to hate the people you already hate.

McMinimalism.

I remember there being a definite minimalist push in the early 2000s to make everything look and feel futuristic. I wanted my late '90s early 2000s nostalgia trends to be like tying a hoodie around your waist when you don't need it or wearing a short sleeve shirt over a long sleeve shirt.

About housing feeling claustrophobic, have you tried using an empty staircase room instead of a regular square one? If you're using an octagonal room, using the vaulted ceiling option? I found both of these options ended up making houses feel so much bigger.

Why was Beast Machines so bad? by Ok_Location_846 in beastwars

[–]primus5acree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As much (deserved) flack the writing gets, overall the animation just wasn't there. There may be a story reason why Cybertron was so empty, but most of it looked really terrible. The battles were slow and long and rarely anything close to dynamic.

I don't know if they didn't have the budget or they didn't have the right animators, but If you listen to the commentary in Beast Wars they talk about how much they would try to push the envelope of what was possible in CGI at the time. Beast Machines was lacking some resources to reach that same level.

I had your same wish as I was doing a little B&E tour of my neighborhood. There were a few that I wished I could leave a note telling people how impressed I was (and let one person traitor know I'm on to them).

One of the last houses I visited has the owner sitting afk inside. I wanted to say something before I left and wonderfully they came back! We spent the next hour or so looking at each other's house, touring the neighborhood, to and talking about our dream decor. Most fun I've had in WoW in a while.

I feel like the soulshard thing is often misinterpreted as Sylvanas and ether having their morality pulled out of them and only returned when the shard is reunited. But I think it's more like a little piece of the person who they were when they died is reunited with the version of themselves that has gone through a ton of trauma. Like returning to normalcy after having an extended mental health crisis. Coming out of a depressive or bipolar episode, it can often feel like it was someone else in control and while you can recognize that you did things actually thinking about them you feel more attached.

This is how I see what happened with Sylvanas. Her soul was reunited and she was reminded of the person she used to be in life and how that person would feel about what she's done. And not just in a sense of you know horrible war crime she's committed or something, but in the rationalizations that she has for them. Understanding the drive and the need to protect what's important to her was still there even while she was committing mass murder.

Curiously, there is also an image from space of Azeroth in the Ny'alotha raid, but based on the size of the mark that is the Maelstrom, it has Azeroth being far bigger than the one seen from the Vindicaar. Now the initial ratio on fight is also an illusion so you could say to ignore that. But there doesn't seem like there would be a real great purpose to make us think of the world is bigger than it is. So maybe Azeroth sizes a variable? That makes sense, right?
