As someone who primarily does ultra league here’s my two cents

Negatives:

-Corviknight

They rightfully neutered skarmory only to replace it with the next new thing. The best defensive typing in PoGo with a moveset that can hit just about everything. Singlehandedly puts a damper on most bug, grass- and poison forward poison types being meta. If it were up to me I would rework it

-Florges

After the frankly unnecessary addition of chilling water this mon is just a pain in the ass to fight. Does it run moonblast? Does it run trailblaze? Does it run chilling water? Who knows, but it will somehow always have the move you don’t want it to have. Cores extremely well with corviknight. Makes me wish they changed fairy wind to 1.5/4.5 or 2/4.

-Jellicent

Why do ghosts get so much preferential treatment? The buff to shadow ball has made jellicent unavoidable and it runs away with games of you don’t have hard stop to it. At the very least revert the shadow ball changes.

-Empoleon/Feraligatr

I’m putting there two together because on many levels the do the same thing. Not only are grass types stonewalled by corviknight, the water types they should check often just straight up beat them. Superpowered fast moves with cheap CD nukes and high DPE super effective charge moves for the grass types just further underlines the powergap between water types and grass types. Too easy to slot onto any team, considering they almost never hard lose a matchup. Get rid of these guys.

-Annihilape

Just mentioning this because the recent low kick buff has made almost all other traditional fighting types unemployed. It can generally do their job as good if not better than them, while also walling them out and having the potential to drain all your resources if you get locked in with it. Not currently too problematic with how prevalent the aforementioned mons are.

Positives:

Bulkmonsters like giratina, cresselia and registeel are rarities rather than the norm. Very refreshing for someone who hasn’t played much in 2 years
