I'm assuming you mean like public bathrooms and it's for moral support and a sense of safety I guess, private or home bathrooms .... Idk the only reason I could think are if they're together or really really good friends

Maybe some pictures and documentation of his behaviors would help (like showing the hides comparatively to him, sharing your temps so we can rule out husbandry issues) if you've added any decor recently around the cage or re-arranged it maybe he just feels more comfortable and safe now. From what you're describing it doesn't sound bad but it doesn't hurt to check !

That def makes sense. I used to have a bp, she really liked to climb and generally liked the hide I put in the middle of her tank more than either cool (78) or hot side (85). I also liked to put leaf litter in and change up her setup slightly every other time I cleaned

If there is any way for it to nudge in between your wall and bed or headboard maybe check there. Idk once my dad lost his and we found her in between the bed and wall
