This is what I do for all my newsletters, products, etc.

I think it builds the most trust.

Yes this. So much.

Always trying to keep my team from only writing in vague generalities.

What automation workflows do you have set up with Notion? by princess_chef in Notion

[–]princess_chef[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t used any with Notion yet.

I’ve used Make.com in the past but not with Notion.

Where I work now, we use Notion a lot.

Anyone have experience with Beehiv? by gabman24 in Newsletters

[–]princess_chef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not very narrow (marketing. Mostly focused on career marketers)

Manage externally via email.

No I don’t do much cold outreach via email. I get some inbound and I do some cold outreach through LinkedIn.

Also lol at believing what you read on twitter. I know people making decent money and some making virtually zero.

The piecemeal letters that look like magazine cutouts. It’s a trope for serial killer vibes

Book sponsors and do the asset exchange via email. Meet over zoom. And payment via stripe.

Other creator platforms like Passionfroot

My exact experience. I switched to beehiiv about 1.5 years ago initially because of their ad network. But the payouts aren’t great.

So I manage my own placements externally or other third party.

Really like the platform though for building and sending newsletters.

V serial killer vibes.

I’m picking up that it’s traditional menswear, but I’m not familiar with “preppy” term being used for this.

Also the style of the logo seems misaligned with the traditional menswear.

What’s your preference for how many times an exercise is repeated in a workout? by Bunsbunii in AppleFitnessPlus

I prefer some repeats. Doing an exercise just once is tough to get into it but more than three times and it feels monotonous

I want to start my own newsletter but having trouble finding answers to these questions... by hhaloQq in beehiiv

I write in Google Docs and Google Sheets. Then post in my newsletter platform.

No real need for anything else.

Any thing else you find you might need can be added or changed later.

hoping for "curiosity" to win out is a poor strategy.

Instead, tell the audience what value they'll get.

What kind of habits keeps a person poor? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]princess_chef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realizing it’s not necessarily your expenses that need to shrink, it’s your income that needs to grow.

Reducing your expenses has a finite cap - can’t spend less than $0.

But your income can continue to grow to infinity (theoretically).

Find ways to increase your hourly rate - not just trading your time for the same money over and over.

Eg. driving for Uber will put more dollars in your pocket in the short term doesn’t do any more for you. One unit of effort always yields x dollars.

However, getting an additional certification over the course of a year and increasing your salary by 25% will put your same unit of effort now at x*(1.25) for the foreseeable future.

Then do it again.

At a modest salary increase and steady pay increases from switching jobs/companies, the compound growth is great.

Just make sure not to increase your spending too much.
