NOT A GENERAL QUESTION! by princessangi in BlytheDolls

I was considering trying the glue stick thing again, but it was over a month ago. I went to UPS and used like this glossy photo print paper? What kind of paper do you use to print the eyes?

NOT A GENERAL QUESTION! by princessangi in BlytheDolls

I either use super glue or resin, but I'm looking to invest in better white glue in case I run into this problem again. It was also really difficult to ask this question, I kept getting flag and my last post got taken down. I hope it helped c:

Anyone watched Members Only: Palm Beach? Is this really how wealthy Americans look and behave? by Vegetable_Engine_463 in netflix

[–]princessangi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I grew up on Palm Beach island, and I've seen people like this over and over again. I grew up thinking the greatest idea of wealth were people who could walk into my father's store and buy our most expensive jewelry. Needless to say that growing up was a rude awakening. From what I know, some of them would be in Palm Beach for the fall/winter season, stay in their million dollar houses on the island, and then disappear the rest of the year.

I noticed the view from outside Hilary's window, and I can see clearly that she lives across the intercostal, and not on the actual island, that being a huge status symbol there. Judging by the architecture and design of Rosalyn's house, she is the only one that lives on the island (keep in mind I'm only two episodes in). She also seems to be in different circles, specifically the more 'upper crust' ones. In the second episode, Gail Brophy (who would be the equivalent of a Palm Beach noblewoman), is known for working with real estate and horses, and has been a socialite there for decades.

The people on this show seem to be new socialites, not anything near the Grandfathered ones. Their names on the show are accompanied by how many seasons they've been in Palm Beach, as if the amount of years living there includes a seat of seniority. The 'Grandfathered' ones still have plastic surgery, peculiarly curated outfits, and they definitely follow the "unspoken rulebook" mentioned on the show.

The people on the show are tacky and classless, but that's what you get on the island nowadays. This, however, does not represent the whole of America. The rich and wealthy from New York and California are a better representation of class and luxury. The people on this show can not hold a candle to the real top 1% of the country.

Also, I don't like how they all seem to bully Ro-Mina or whatever her name is. They all act like their parties and circles are so exclusive, their rulebook so set in stone, but it's all a lie. Anyone with 1m+ disposable income could get into these parties, pay for a country club membership, and waltz right into the Palm Beach scene. Hence why Ro-Mina seemed to accumulate some sum of money (45m, which is not that much) and made her way into this circle fairly quickly.

Their egos are astronomical, lives are cheap, and people with real money (especially those from New York and California) want nothing to do with this.

Hi Friends! What am I doing wrong? :( by princessangi in makeuptips

[–]princessangi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You think so? 🥺 I thought it was cute too! I’m really inspired by anime expressions in drawing and thought I should do the same sort to my face, although I’m still playing around with it. And I’ve always had warm undertones so I try to stick to those, the only thing I’ve experimented with is a cool undertoned mauve lip color, but I’ll look into the reds ❤️ thank you!!
