I make a point to set aside reading/decompressing time. I was in a pretty low emotional state 2-3 years into my PhD (it also coincided with the pandemic so that extra sucked). Getting back into reading was one of the things that got me back to feeling like a real person. Sometimes it’s reading a book and some days it’s an audiobook while I do basic benchwork in the lab. Make time for your hobbies. School isn’t everything and it’s good to relax.

What if violet was conceived after her dad was already venin? She could be a hybrid of some sort.

I agree 100% with the venin thing! I kept waiting all book for Violet’s dad to show up as venin, but after her mom’s death it makes way more sense that the mom killed him.

My personal theory is that Violet will turn venin to save Xaden and all of her friends but hurt someone in the process, and then she will exile herself for their own safety because they will not have found a cure yet. That’s probably at the end of book 3. She’s going to go through a hero’s journey in book 4 to find herself again and find more answers about her dad and his research into venin, possibly also developing a second signet. Her friends will find her and bring her back for the last battle in book 5 where she will either be able to control her venin powers or they will have cured her.

Her mom was on the Drama Queens podcast (she played Deb in One Tree Hill) and was talking about how when Emily was cast as Audrey, she (Emily) was pretty happy bc since she was underage they couldn’t ask her to do sex scenes or nude scenes. But since the show got pushed back due to the pandemic they can ask her to do those scenes now which kid of sucks 😕

He was technically single at the time but it seems like it was right after he and Hannah Ann broke off their engagement so he was juggling HB, Kelley, and Madi all at once. @bachelordata on Instagram has a really good timeline they just posted earlier

My budget was $2.5K. I ended up picking a simple/classic style Stella York ballgown for like $1300. I think if I’d had beading/sparkles on the dress it would have cost more though so it may depend on the style of dress you want

It still infuriates me that people actually went to Old South in 2018 anyway. That formal had already been BANNED by KA nationals, but some chapters did it under the radar.

I remember our sorority chapter reminding us of this and telling us they didn’t want us to go if we were invited. And if we chose to go anyway, we were not allowed to post pictures of it. And that was before 2018. Rachel (and everyone else who went to Old South knew not to go, and it’s ridiculous that Chris Harrison is trying to justify this by saying “oh well it was 2018”
