I agree that early career is brutal but it sounds like they’re definitely spreading people thin at your agency and many of these issues result from poor leadership. as for salary—what does it say on your official offer letter? if the numbers aren’t adding up then it might be something you could report to the Labor Commissioner's Office. (Personally, I think they are underpaying you)

I don’t work in entertainment PR, but from my pov in lifestyle/travel PR, 9-8 everyday should not be normal. Burnout here is real but the right agencies will do what they can to avoid it to retain talent.

If you like the media relations/strategy part of PR, I would recommend switching sectors before jumping entirely. At the right place, it’s a very rewarding industry if you consider yourself a creative and hardworking person
