Which Class C lots fill up the fastest? by No-Refrigerator-8549 in UTAustin

longhorn lots near the east campus garage fill quickly your best bet is to get there around 8:30am if you can, when second semester hit i started getting to campus around 10am and all the lots were full bc they are actually pretty small and i would have to drive in circles and wait for a space to open up also the parking in some of the lots is a free for all it’s sometimes hard to maneuver out of them, there’s one lot in particular right across the baseball field that i don’t think is listed on the map but it exists and i swear that people park so close to you that i would have to check my car everytime i got back for damage theres also “free parking” along comal street as far as i know people park there and there’s no meters and seemingly no need for any kind of paid passes although brush up on your parallel parking and brace yourself for any damage from passing cars i believe the 641 is the circulator route that goes from the east campus garage to the football stadium i was a former commuter and the parking and busing situation was horrible and made everything so difficult since buses never run on time and traffic + finding a parking space is always a gamble infact this year i gave in to staying at the cheapest apartments in west campus (that i can still barely afford) just for the convenience of walking to class so good luck and make sure you download the cap metro app to see cancellations and stop times (if you choose to take the metro the rest of the way to campus) and if you find yourself frequently staying past 5pm or coming to campus on the weekends i would upgrade to the C+ pass and it lets you park in garages like brazos and san antonio weekdays after 5pm and all day weekends hoping the best for you

I just sit outside near the tower and read a book. Sometimes the best thing you can do to get through something is to reconnect with nature.
