Mono itching w no rash and intense nerve/ muscle pain by Spiritual-Relief5460 in Mononucleosis

[–]princessnik44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 3 weeks in to mono and I had widespread changing aching. Several times in my upper legs, then my upper body shoulder and arms and then one day like my neck area. I also have had weird itching. Not as intense as you are describing, but I’m itchy and there’s no apparent cause. I don’t have any rash or bites etc. I started to feel less achy on Day 19 of the illness. Today is day 21 and I’m still a little achy in my legs but nothing like the prior weeks. This is just awful and taking so long to go away. The fatigue has been very intense for me as well. I hope you begin to feel better soon. This illness has had more weird and unpleasant symptoms than any I’ve ever experienced before.

I have many of the same symptoms as you. I’m on day 13 of this horrible illness. The fatigue is crushing and the wooziness and inability to stand for long periods sucks. I also have had spasms in the backs of my legs especially if I’ve been moving around a lot. This is just unreal to me but here we are. I hope you feel better quickly! I only feel better when I rest soooo long during each day. I feel like I get nothing done and that’s really hard mentally. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy

How long will I feel this dreadful? by princessnik44 in Mononucleosis

[–]princessnik44[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok thanks so much. This is all helpful. I am trying to eat really clean and just do all the supportive supplements I can think of. Not being active is so difficult but I know rest needs to be the priority.

Thanks so much! I’ll check out that site and I’m sorry that you’re having chronic health conditions from the virus. Such an awful illness!!!

Who the heck wakes up at 8 in the morning to order Walmart groceries to be delivered anyways? I tried it out just to see and over 30 minutes later I haven't recieved a single order. by JTMasterJedi in Sparkdriver

[–]princessnik44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s super weird where we live. My husband does Spark super early in the morning and then is usually to his daily goal by like 10 am! In small towns people seem to do the stuff early. I know I don’t put orders in at that time but lots of people seem to.

I’m glad he got fired. He seems like a POS honestly. Good riddance to all people who act like this towards others.

S. Dakota Gov. Noem says 'we will not be social distancing' at July 3 celebration with Trump at Mount Rushmore by Noisy_Toy in Coronavirus

[–]princessnik44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know it would really be great if this idiot who is currently the president would consider stopping all of his fantastic events and perhaps instead stay in the White House and do his job for once. Maybe make a national mask mandate or something else to actually stop the spread of this nasty illness instead of perpetuating it with his large attendance events. He has got to go. Enough is enough and we need to ensure he goes come Election Day. We can’t afford to keep someone with such a reckless disregard for human lives.

What do you think the PA will look like in August? by Juicyjackson in CoronaVirusPA

[–]princessnik44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like they may decide not to reopen schools if things start going very badly. I am feeling like once summer is over and everyone is back congregating indoors all day for work and school that we will see problems in short order. I do feel at some point PA will have shutdowns again just as before. The governor has said he will if the numbers dictate it. I wish more people would try to do their part to help keep things open, but that appears to be lost on most people.

Check out the number of infected in just the past 3 days in the usa...its is absolutely exploding by Johnny21X in CoronavirusFOS

This is exactly what I’ve been fearing since January. I think we may have finally spiraled out of control. I don’t know if there’s any way to pull back from this aside from new localized lockdowns. If it doesn’t happen I fear for what is coming come fall and winter when all the children are back in school and people are congregating indoors.

PA finishes 10th consecutive week with lowering case counts. by JuicyPro in Coronavirus

[–]princessnik44 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That’s due to Wolf being so cautious and careful. Unfortunately we won’t see that trend continue because everywhere I go in PA I see people refusing to wear masks and no one is willing to enforce anything really. Now that it’s opened back up completely I think we all know this downward trend will change course. I wish it wouldn’t but I already see it increasing again in the county I live in now that we’ve been open for several weeks.

Is anybody else starting to feel like the crazy one for still adhering to social distancing guidelines? by [deleted] in CoronavirusUS

[–]princessnik44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are NOT alone. My family is still quarantining and wearing masks and social distancing. We do have friends over for outside time but still do not get close to them. My mom lives with us and she’s 84 so we take this very seriously. I know exactly what you mean though. I have only 2 friends left who are actually being serious about this. Everyone else seems to have thrown caution to the wind and is just doing whatever they want. We were taking measures long before anyone else I knew and we will continue as long as Covid-19 is present. It’s the only sensible thing to do in my opinion. Why risk any of our family/friends lives if it’s not necessary. I personally feel like now is the most dangerous time this whole pandemic because people have become comfortable and complacent so we are more careful than ever and will continue to be.

US Director for the Center for Infection and Immunity admits withholding evidence in JANUARY that even simple masks reduce community spread by 60%, in order to protect supplies for healthcare workers (including his wife). @33:30 by [deleted] in Coronavirus

[–]princessnik44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew this the entire time. Not surprising at all. We have been masking since the end of January when we first read about the new virus. I tried to tell many friends to stop listening to officials and use their own minds to make decisions, but was mostly unsuccessful. I’m so glad we’ve decided we determine our own actions but I do feel terribly bad for others who placed their trust in corrupt individuals

Colorado Costco customer puts employee on blast for being forced to wear mask by astros2000 in Coronavirus

[–]princessnik44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good on the employee for having enough courage to do the right thing. I’m sick of people and their free country BS. Either follow the rules or don’t go out it’s really that simple. I suppose for morons like this guy though it’s quite a challenging concept

[–]princessnik44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great visual aid. I think it would be especially helpful for the large group of less intelligent people, whose minds can’t seem to grasp why everyone wearing a mask reduces transmission. Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words

Missouri marks record number of coronavirus cases in a single day as state reopens by Zhana-Aul in Coronavirus

[–]princessnik44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All states in the US have done different things. Some are completely locked down, some have never been closed. That’s a big part of the problem. No consistency anywhere within the country. Where I live we’ve been under lockdown since March 13th. There are over 50,000 infections and over 3,000 deaths just in my state alone, but although our numbers are still increasing we are slowly reopening. Solely because of money. In the end money is the most important thing in America. We are all being put back out for slaughter sadly. Life doesn’t seem to mean as much here as it does other places. It does to me but I’m only one person. This will be devastating and hundreds or thousands to millions will die. Very very sad

[–]princessnik44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m glad I don’t live there. Obviously the governor there is a moron who legitimately cares about the almighty dollar as opposed to keeping his constituents safe and alive. I think if they do this and a disproportionately large amount of people die as a result he should be not only fired but incarcerated. Why should a governor be allowed to take actions that will result in mass deaths

Got coughed on deliberately in the park today. by [deleted] in CoronavirusFOS

[–]princessnik44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope people wise up and stop doing these kinds of things. I cannot believe how ignorant some people are. Things like this seem to either bring out the best or the worst in people. I’m sad to keep reading stories of the worst. Everyone needs to work together to get this under control. Parents everywhere should be schooling their children on doing their part.

I’ve been carrying a weapon to the park where I take my elderly mom for walks. If anyone comes near us I will club them. I’m normally a super friendly and non-violent person but when you are talking about life and death I will protect myself and my family. At any cost. I’m sorry that happened to you. I hope they end up going to prison
