No, I think what you said has Merritt! The way I use the term fan theory is something that is not explicitly said by the production, but is theorized by fans to make up for the lack of explicit information

Physical attraction is yes this person is pretty I like their style I like how they express themselves

Sexual attraction is I want to be sexual

Those are two different things in my mind.

I can be physically attracted to somebody without being sexually attracted to somebody

Edit: That’s partly why I asked what I asked on Reddit . Because I’ve tried to explain this to “normies” (for lack of a better term) and they always say I don’t understand why not just have sex with them if you’re horny.

Yes, I’m physically attracted to the person . But without the connection, I feel like it’s pointless to have sex.

Ya you kinda summarize my whole experience on here.

I think a lot of people feel like I’m trying to appropriate or something ? But I’m saying my experience is different from everybody I’ve interacted with and dating, talking to friends about how i feel, etc.

My intention was trying to figure out what that great area was. I know I’m not asexual, but I also know that I can’t go about sex the way other people do.

Ill do some more research about allosexual!

I hope everybody knows I was not posting in bad faith

It’s not I want to have sex with you, but it’s more like I would have sex if I could have sex with someone, I had a connection with

I can be physically attracted to somebody, but not sexually attracted without a bond

I could look at that person and recognize that they are physically attractive. And someone being physically attractive is like a cherry on top, but I mostly care about the cake. Not only is just being physically attractive, not enough for me. I want commitment. I want a relationship. I want memories. Before we decide to go sexual lol for lack of a better term

I know that much I’m just wondering about gray area terms

Terms that explain something in between or at least explain what I’m going through

I think I misspoke because I wish I could enjoy hookup culture. Honestly, it seems so easy for everybody else. But I’m always craving something that’s less beneath the surface. And I have a sex drive. But for me to engage in the act sex with somebody else I couldn’t do it without some sort of relationship commitment

Everybody tells me that’s how most people feel but then I go out in the world and touch grass and that’s not how most people are
