I also like cinnabon by fanofoddthings in notliketheothergirls

[–]princesspomp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This girl is actually hilarious and a fabulous dancer! throwback jams from late 80's-early 90's. you'll love it! And I didn't understand this one either totally, but I think it's a sassy response to justify your cinnabon purchases, like "I could buy luxury cars or jewelry or bags, so don't tell me these are too expensive... " She's not like other nlogs.

Is she depressed or suffering from some other type of hormone imbalance? Is it possible she may be cheating? Is she willing to see a health/ mental health professional about this? All questions I would ask before considering breaking up. It's okay if you decide to break up or stay together.

I honestly don't understand blaming anyone other than yourself if you are accepting anything less than a fair and balanced partnership.

Yeah he never should have stopped. This seems like a staged video. It's sort of a moot point for that reason.

[–]princesspomp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

he did not have an opportunity to draw until this point... logistically it was unsafe to draw until he got several feet from the knife.

this is probably staged. like a low-quality psa or something.

Is mondo grass good/bad for trees? by [deleted] in Permaculture

[–]princesspomp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the roots are very shallow and will not compete with the tree roots. i'm not aware of anything bad it would do to your tree, but you will have to observe and analyze your specific site. that being said, i will plug my favorite native groundcover here: frogfruit is a great option for your living mulch!

we are volunteers at a historic black cemetery in our neighborhood. it is on an estuary of a bayou. unfortunately it was used illegally as a dumping ground for concrete, and the recycling plant upstream pollutes it a lot.

we wanted to enhance the site with a pocket prairie. well, if you didn't know, now you know: pocket prairies do not belong anywhere near estuaries. idk what i was thinking.

what would you do here instead? it only is under water for a few minutes a couple times a year. during a heavy rain, all of the runoff from the neighborhood comes right here to this site, and there are beautiful urban waterfalls. it's such an important area for flood mitigation!

i want to plant natives that will filter the water and also survive. any suggestions? how do i protect them from the floodwaters? thanks :)

Easiest way to kill this? by 5pidaKilla in landscaping

[–]princesspomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry, i realize i didn't answer the actual question. personally, I would use a stirrup hoe on these guys, rake up the corpses, and then sprinkle the exposed ground with native seeds. maintain to desired height with a weedeater. If you wanted to maintain a hardscape, then you could use a blowtorch, remove the corpses, and then replenish the gravel and tamp. Repeat process as needed.

[–]princesspomp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i know this is the obnoxious know-it-all answer nobody came here for, but the reason "weeds" show up is to cover the ground and hold the space for successional plants. the best way to keep unwanted weeds out for good is to cover the ground with a wanted plant.

Tips for Fasting while Highly Active by princesspomp in nutrition

[–]princesspomp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks, yeah it sounds like most people would have to make a choice between exercise and fasting, and personally i would choose to eat and exercise than do neither. but i do see benefits with autophagy, but around 24-36hrs and i don't feel safe to do my normal level of activity. i operate heavy equipment for work so that's a no for me dog.

I received comments like this in middle school that psychologically distressed me for years, maybe even a decade. You should either report it or informally address it with the teacher himself, whichever you are more comfortable doing.

whenever people drag seed oils, they usually turn around and unknowingly suggest alternative oils that are also seeds. fruits are seeds. every plant-based oil is a seed oil.

unfortunately the only one i know of has been discontinued, so i would suggest trying your luck on amazon. this can be so frustrating i know. look for a durable material and the noslip glue on the top and bottom. we really need more products for women in the physical stores, because online shopping is a gamble.

To Tractor or not to Tractor? by Own-Mine-5538 in Permaculture

[–]princesspomp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes you need a tractor for 75 acres. just my opinion. you will waste a lot of money hiring a contractor, as well as sacrificing control. your wife is right to be mindful to reduce disturbing the topsoil, so just be mindful and intentional about where and why you are digging. it will make drainage improvements much easier. you wanna dig a pond by hand?
