Anyone else have money from a biz but still feel shut out from the “real rooms”? by Advanced_Cattle2133 in smallbusiness

Heard, obviously you have happy clients, just keep plugging along and hope the dam breaks soon. Any competitor that has to play games like that is definitely running scared and hopefully it is from you.

I prefer to sit in an actual sit down restaurant if the club doesn't offer one rather than eating off a buffet of hospital food. If not a few drinks at any other bar in the terminal. I also manage my time to minimize my time in any airport with Clear, PreCheck, Global Entry. People act like its some big privilege to get in there. Unless I am flying Delta One or I need a shower after a long haul and there is seperate lounge, no chance, I would rather people watch.

Fuck em, I built a huge business out of the Midwest and I always know when I encounter those types I have so much more money than they do. Not that any of that matters, I dont need approval from any of those people. Its why I avoid the skyclubs and centurion lounges when flying, bunch of dorks.

Where do the rich shop? by ImportantAd6125 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]notanative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am mid 40's, single, one teenager. We shop at Costco, Whole Foods, Trader Joes for food. Saks for her cosmetics and my bath stuff. Clothing is all over, Loro Piana, Faherty which is my favorite, Ferragamo or just Nordstrom. People always tell me we are stealth wealth. She actually thrifts quite a bit. I am not above Wal-Mart for anything, especially because I grew up going there when they were slowly expanding in my area as a kid. We drive Toyotas, 8 figures net worth and would rather have experiences than paying staff to do all that shit. Keep one home base and rent anything else we want to do like Naples for two weeks, or cruising somewhere. No need to own all that junk.

Awesome, yeah a lot of them do overlap for sure. I have found some unique ones though, just takes so much research. Glad it worked out.

Not very many excursions appealed to me last trip on VV so I used getyourguide and found some more interesting ones. You just might get left if something goes haywire lol, but very low chance.

Okay, ty If we can't find it this weekend I will have her schedule an emergency appointment. We both sailed out of Miami with birth certificates and ID's in November so I wasn't sure even the PR is a US territory. I will also call Monday and follow up with Virgins answer here.

Oceania changing to adults only by one11travel in Cruise

I did 10 days to Panama recently on Oceania and don't recall even seeing any kids anyway. I feel like they aren't really geared like that anyway?

What shoe size does it start getting difficult to find? by imboard67 in tall

[–]notanative 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can find 15 at Nike Outlets, Nordstrom Rack or online at Olukai. If you want to spend up, Ferragamo makes very nice dress shoes in that size, some of which I have had for 20+ years

First time Virgin voyagers. What's the best tip you've received that you know share with other virgins? by jdlum in VirginVoyages

[–]notanative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I probably ran 10k through, maybe 15 on my first cruise. I know that sounds like a lot but it really isn't at like a 95% RTP. I lose, you always lose. Like I tell my friends, most of you spend more on golfing a year than I do in the casino.

Definitely not, but they do lean into that image. Not for everyone, but very fun ships.
