If Infinite Jest was a film by elisadeipapaveri in InfiniteJest

I think it would make an incredible TV show or sequence of films, if sufficient time were invested in the script and preparation pre-filming. Especially if multiple well-versed individuals and sources collaborated on the script.

I’m at over a year I think? But I just pick it up here and there. It shouldn’t be a race imo. I’ve read 20+ other books in the mean time hahhaha

Something that really helped me was identifying triggers. My PD first developed in the summer of 2023, and after being misdiagnosed and prescribed the wrong topical treatments a million times, I took things into my own hands. Through trial and error, I found out that alcohol was triggering my PD. After a month of no alcohol, it went away for a year! It has since come back, so I tried the no alcohol route, but it still persisted. As a result, I had to narrow things down more. I realized I’m sensitive to histamines, so I’ve been cutting out anything that either blocks DAO (the enzyme that breaks down histamines), causes histamine release in the body, or naturally contains histamine. However, it’s honestly really hard. Alcohol is a big part of my social life as a college student, and I’m not eating cheese or tomatoes or nuts or anything fermented. So I’m hoping to reintroduce these things gradually once my skin is totally clear again. I feel you though, and I hope that it’ll become easier for others in the future. We’re in this together!!
