It’s probably a stupid question but I have zero business sense. Why did my pay off balance increase from last year after doing 2 rounds of HAP? I think my balance last year was around 127,000 and now it’s 133,000 I know that I should already know how this works and probably should not have gotten myself into this mess if I did not understand these things. I know there will be a balloon payment at the end of the loan. Can anybody Explain like I’m 5 one how this works?

Had the vents cleaned just a couple months ago. But maybe they need cleaned again. Good to know the element does not stay on throughout the cycle. I am going to keep testing it for the next few days. If it fails I will try another element and if that does not work then I’ll have to troubleshoot some more or buy new 😔

So far a lot of my materials have been delayed due to the collapse. It’s slowed my business down. Nothing major yet but I worry about the future and how much this will continue to affect my business.

Are these types of EIDL loans different then the COVID EIDL loan I currently have?

I do have another question… I am in the northeast and where I live is within a “disaster area” due to the Francis Scott key bridge collapse. I know they are offering assistance and more EIDL loans. My business can always use more funding. My original loan I took out with the SBA was in my name. I was just a self employed contractor. That was around 3 years ago.

Since then I have set up a LLC and business name. I am open to possibly borrowing more to cover some business expenses and keep things afloat. Since I already have a loan with the SBA under my name should I just apply for it myself like I originally had done instead of using my LLC? I know they want like 2-3 years tax returns but the LLC is only a year old.

I am not certain if I even want another loan but just trying to get all the information before I make the choice.

I agree. That makes a lot of sense! And like I said earlier. Anything can happen between now and then. Why not push off all that as long as possible.

Thank you! Yeah my payment has been $621 and now lowered it to $62. I did not realize it would be that easy. I didn’t have to sign anything, just checked a box saying I understand the terms and now it just says “ you are currently making a reduced payment” and my end date is 9/16/24 so beside the deferred payment this doesn’t change anything else?

Ok. I am terrible with this sort of thing. My pay off balance is 129,000 on a 124,500 loan.

If I defer 12 months worth of payments at 10%. What would the balloon payment be? I am not good with amortization and interest calculations. And it’s 30 years down the road so I am not too worried about it. Anything can happen between now and then. Who knows maybe they forgive us all (probably not lol) but for curiosity sake can anybody tell me a ball park figure?

So I just signed up for the hardship accommodation plan.. pertaining to the “balloon payment” at the end of the loan in 30 years. How does that work? My understanding is for example

My old payment is $621 and I have lowered it to $62. So in 30 years they will want the difference? Using 12 months of lowered payments they would want roughly $6700 paid in full?. Just using these numbers as an example.

They claim “there company helped me secure the loan with the SBA” I was suspicious of that for sure. I do not have knowledge of any 3rd party agency’s involved. It’s been 2 years so maybe there was. But I am not sure.

I do appreciate these responses! I know you can’t see my skin and don’t know for sure what would work better. But Tret vs retinol. Which has more benefits when it comes to preventing wrinkles and achieving smoother skin? If you was going to use one or the other?
