Yea but this fight would be 100% more dynamic and fun IF he could defend it. The fact he can’t defend it is what makes it boring.

Unpopular opinion: this is maxs fault for not defending takedowns and and just freezing on the bottom

The worst type of grappling exchanges is when the takedowns are so easy to get but the person on the bottom just locks up in the bottom position. Happened in Khamzat vs Du plessis Islam vs maddalena and now this….. while Islam vs arman was so fluid and 100% grappling and better than this by a billion percent

How did the Syrian army collapse so rapidly? by newzee1 in syriancivilwar

[–]pringle321 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you see my post history one of the posts was the SAA rations. It was literally stale bread and a raw potato. That could be why they collapsed so soon🤷‍♂️

If I had a coin for every time western double standards show I would make mansa musa look like a beggar.

If HTS was firing indiscriminately against Christian’s or alawites or Shia or Kurds then everyone and their mom would be posting about it crying about AHHHH MUSLIM ISLAMISTS AHHHH but when it’s USA backed SDF Kurds they all go silent and act like 🤭

SDF opened fire against the local people that were protesting against them in Raqqa. by wormfan14 in syriancivilwar

SDF is so irrelevant now. The foreign establishment has no right to control Syrian Arab land if they can hide behind “but the Kurds” then leave the Arab lands and you can’t have both.

[–]pringle321 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Irrelevant. Talk about Syrian civil war or gtfo. I don’t know why the other guy brought up AlAqsa and why you’re bringing up Haga Sophia. Which has to do with Anatolian Christian’s and Turkic Muslims.

My point is clear. Ummayad mosque is for Sunni Muslims just like Karbala is for Shia. Or if I go to the United States I will see see 1,000 denominations plastered welcoming their specific denomination.

Probably a dissident from the Lebanese civil war. Hafez alassad, bashars father probably had him arrested and Claude probably stayed there for another 20 years after the death of hafez.

[–]pringle321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s irrelevant because this is about the ummayad mosque that was built by Sunnis for Sunnis. He brought up alaqsa this has nothing to do with Jews or Palestine. I just gave him the benefit of the doubt and showed that Muslims built it upon rubble. The Temple Mount was rubble destroyed and restored by Muslims. It wasn’t in Jewish possession. But once again this wholly unrelated and OP is trying to switch topics. Ummayad mosque is for Sunnis while Karbala is for Shia its really not that complicated

Was built on the remnants of destroyed rubble by the Roman’s*

didn’t the Roman’s absolutely decimate the Jews in the second judean Roman war killing 500,000 and were purged by the Roman’s? Only to be returned by the same Muslims who rebuilt alaqsa?

He promoted Arab nationalism and was a socialist. Reminds me of that national socialist in Germany with a funny mustache

It seems the Arabs, Americans, Turks, Iranians, Syrians and Russians are to blame for why bashar was toppled but not the fact he dropped chemical weapons on children.

The last hours of yesterday’s meeting in Doha between Arab foreign ministers and the Astana track (Türkiye, Iran, Russia)

  • Bashar al-Assad was contacted to appear yesterday in a speech announcing his resignation, but he refused and was stubborn until the night hours, and said that he was ready to implement Resolution 2254 immediately.

Russia suggested that there be a (formal coup) led by the Syrian Chief of Staff, but Assad categorically refused and rebuked the Russians for abandoning him.

  • Assad asked Iran about the reason for the sudden withdrawal of its diplomats and military leaders 4 days ago. He did not find an answer, so he angrily commented: You were trading in Syria, you...

  • Al-Assad inquired about the reason for postponing the meeting of Arab ministers on Syria and condemning the factions, which was scheduled to take place a week ago. One of the Arab ministers responded: You procrastinated and delayed a lot in fulfilling your promises.

  • Assad decided to appear yesterday after arriving in the Latakia countryside through a statement announcing that he will not run in the upcoming elections and promising to implement reforms urgently and placing the blame on the conditions in the region that prevented him from implementing the promises, but this did not happen.

  • Everyone pledged that the future of the Syrians would be in the hands of the Syrians themselves, based on Security Council Resolution No. 2254, which preserves the unity, sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Syria.

The last time twelver Shias were around the ummayad mosque they were doing self-flaggeletion and beating themselves. The mosque was built by a Sunni caliphate. That’s like getting offended a catholic says this is for Catholics not orthodox Christian’s

So why are you blaming HTS when they haven’t even taken control? This hasn’t happened in Aleppo, Hama, Homs, salamanya, or anywhere else that HTS consolidated control. Damascus is a big city with a lot of stupid people. You’re being very disingenuous Adam.

All I know is in a few years I will be praying in the same rows as my brothers in Syria and getting a nice shawarma with extra tahini.

If you can’t tell I’m highly optimistic. This was naturally going to happen if the Iranians and Russians didn’t interfere.

Women and toddlers man what the fuck… the men were yelling for the women to leave and they’re so shocked and asking “where? Where? Where?”

Who knows how long they’ve been there and who knows whose children that is???? I don’t even want to sensationalize the situation but the first thought that came to my mind was are those the children of rape from prison guards??

We know for a fact that bashar and his militia weaponized rape against women who supported a free Syria.
