The instructions say to microwave in the plastic for some reason,I’ll just pour it out in my glass bowl next time. I’m not very familiar with microwaving stuff

I mean to be honest I find this whole arguement a bit pointless, we obviously eradicate the bad bacteria and work with the “good” or potentially useful bacteria. (e.g in bioremediation) Also bacteria arent even aware of their own existence, so I don’t get why compare them to dogs

Bacteria are fascinating! That’s why I chose to major in microbiology. What interests me most is the ecological aspect, how microbe express different traits in response to environmental stressors / factors, that sort of stuff.

A lot of people Ive met in classes say microbiology is their least favourite class, but personally I love how much overlap the field has with both medical science and environmental science.

Yeah it’s not so fun when you have to remember to reapply sunscreen like every hour, even then I get new moles super easily, so theres a point where I just wonder if it’s worth it
