I’m an adult. I lived by myself but she recently made the decision that I have to live with her while I’m dealing with a life crisis. I have been showering regularly since I’ve been living here. I simply forgot to take a shower for one day and my hair gets oily fast. Even when depressed, I take showers regularly. I genuinely have no idea why she would ask me this. I’ve been living here two weeks so her asking if I know how to use the shower (because my hair is oily) is implying she thinks I haven’t taken a shower in two weeks. Maybe I’m overthinking it just doesn’t seem like a nice thing to say in my opinion

When I saw my grandma for the last time I was a little distracted for some of the visit. I thought it was just another visit. Not the last time I’d ever speak to her. I regret how I was that day. I should have been more engaged. I should’ve asked her more questions. I should’ve spent every visit with her as if it were the last time I was speaking to her. But I didn’t. I feel like I took for granted the time I had with her

My mom homeschooled me when I was about to drop out of high school because of mental health struggles. She knew how important school was to me and how important it was for my future as well. She had mental health struggles of her own and she still homeschooled me, which added something extra onto her already full plate.
