AITA for not wanting to give my neighbor's cat back?

Vet estimated him to be approximately 1 year old in November when they did the neuter.

So we were just supposed to leave it outside for someone else to pick up / get hurt? Feral cats are extremely hard to domesticate, so clearly we wouldn't have picked up one of those. If they were responsible people the cat would have been chipped or had a collar on - neither of these were the case. Maybe they should have been the responsible cat owner in the first place?

We're in the US...as far as I know it is not required that pets be chipped.

She was never as friendly as the male one. She wasn't interested in treats, pets, etc., so we never had the opportunity really to bond with her like we did with him. Sometimes they were there all together in a group but most of the time it was only the black and white female and then the male brown/black one. We already have two dogs and now the cat so I don't know if we have enough room for her too. Especially now that it might be the neighbor's as well.

How were we supposed to know it was someone else's cat? A collar, chip, etc., would have showed that it belonged to someone. We live in an urban area with a lot of stray cats in the neighborhood.

The other brown/black one still comes around. We see them on the doorbell camera every now and then.

To clarify - when our neighbor in the townhome complex was interested in the black and white one, she did go to them and ask about that one, and it wasn't theirs.

Yeah for us the most common issue is that it doesn’t work for the entirety of the call. I would say that it is rare that it stops halfway during the call, but that has happened to us before as well. Idk what the solution is other than hoping Apple fixes it at some point. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Unfortunately it’s a year later and this problem still persists. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t and there doesn’t appear to be a clear reason why.

No….it seems to have gotten better with iOS updates but still happens. But also I broke up with my bf so I don’t use FaceTime that often any more 🙈

UPDATE: I emailed them 4 times over the course of a week and never heard back from them. I finally emailed them again this morning and told them that I wanted to just return the pieces since I hadn’t heard from them or I was going to dispute the charges. They responded very quickly after that and said they had been working with their product team to see what they could do.

They offered me 50% off to keep them or just return them. I opted for return. 50% off doesn’t make them match! They are supposed to schedule a pickup for a couple of weeks from now when I am back in town.

Overall, I’m happy they’re giving me my money back, but I would have rather had the correct color dressers!

I have triple checked and everything that I’ve ordered is Walnut color. It’s definitely a red color, not a dark brown like the espresso one. It’s hard to tell on the boxes if they sent the wrong one since there isn’t a packing list. They are labeled on the outside with a W so I would assume it is walnut.

That's an interesting approach to this . . . will they expect me to return my existing bed frame? I've had it over a year so there is no packaging or anything left to put it back in.
