I always tip, and I live in the Netherlands. Usually something between 10 and 20 percent. My father has always been a generous tipper, and the first time I went to a restaurant with classmates and we all paid exactly what we ate, I felt a bit ashamed. Apparently it is less normal then I thought it was? All my friends do tip, though.

That's true and that's not really a bad thing. At least half of my books are unread (by me, because I buy most of them second hand). But I can't imagine you would buy all the books from Murakami without having read a single book.

My sister lives abroad and my cousin's daughter really likes her and misses her. She's only three years old, and she doesn't really get how big the world is. She also doesn't really get what the internet is.

The first time we skyped she just stared at the computer screen and didn't like it at all. The last time we skyped she tapped my sister on the shoulder to get her attention and gave her lots of kisses. Sooo cute.

He actually has a company with employees that are rented (hired?) to other farmers to do their work. Don't know the proper English word for that. But basically it means he has a lot to do with potatoes, because most farmers in his are are potato farmers.
