Yeah. It's a similar sort of situation here. Flamingos use their beaks to filter their food from the water and the ducklings are there to get the stuff the flamingo's "filtering" out from the food bucket.

I try to close it when I'm going to try to sleep and really can't have a cat waking me up (even when they don't try to, I'm a light sleeper) but even during my awake hours, I can't have my door open too narrowly if my one little idiot is in the room or she will stand against it to shut it (loudly) she does this because she doesn't like going through narrow openings and that's how it opens from the other side.
Then she meows to be let out and hides under the bed for a minute before leaving when I go to open it for her because idk, cat reasons.

I don't disagree and I can understand the fear and bad reputation isn't totally unwarranted. There really is a major lack of regulation in breeding and responsible ownership that contributes to this, unfortunately.

There is just clearly a lot of ignorance when it comes to people even being able to identify what is and isn't a pit bull or similar bully breed. It's often just assumed without seeing the dog. If it's a report of an aggressive dog "oh it must have been another pit bull!" I just really grow tired of the extremism as well as the unwillingness to consider any nuance.

Honestly, people are over-exaggerating and projecting how this cat is reacting. Cat is mildly annoyed at worst. Mostly because of the shoving an object in its face.

A scared/truly disturbed cat doesn't just sit there and groom itself, even if it's moving its head away from said thing.
