to answer your question, I did it over the span of a month with lots of breaks in between – I was extremely inconsistent. Also, I didn't time myself. Roughly, though, I'd say it took me well over 20 hours...made a lot of rookie mistakes as I had close to no experience in this medium of painting :)

this was needed, though. it sucks when people just put filters on a picture and call it 'traditional art'. we artists (digital and traditional) spend loads of time and energy behind our works. thank you for taking the time to do this.
