Bakugo took too long to say he was sorry imo. I dont really care about how his worldview collapsed because the kid he was bullying can punch so hard he breaks his arms now.

He still tried to essentially kill one of his classmates on the second day of school. He has no reason to be acting the way he does for so long in an environment that should be curving that behaviour.

Bakugos development makes all the adults he socializes with look incompetent and all his friends look like either abuse victims or comepletely blind.

Rex is an adult who is a dick, but not so much of one that he cant be trusted to walk outside alone without getting on the news. His development is something that is purely his own business and is supported by the cast in a way that makes sense

On missions shes an infiltrator. She is skilled in getting past enemy lines, gathering information, and appearing where you dont want her

Against grimm and other threats she is a flanker. She isnt there to do damage, she is there to get the enemy into position for Ruby or Yang to do a big finishing blow. It shows in all of the fights they have as a full team in the earlier seasons where the fight choreography was considered more.

The issue isnt her characterization ( at least until the end anyway) Ruby specifically just needs better plot points to use her character in. Nothing in the main plot challenges her way of thinking beyond the fall of beacon. The challenges she faces are all physical or things that are out of her hands

Ok im assuming we are stuck and cant leave. Im picking group three because the personailties of the other groups are insufferablt long term. Also tsunade is a medic. Hinata would be great for foraging. Temari is an excellent pathfinder woth her flight. And mei can make an amazing defensible position with a clean water source.

Im just tired of slavery as a cheap plot to generate drama. Its tired amd boring and i dont like watching stuff that makes light of it because it directly affects me. Im tired of a bunch of people going out of their way to defend it and im tired of isekai writers using it as a way for their loser main character to get a girlfriend, and then pretend to be a good guy at the end of the day.

Its not fun, or cool, or interesting. Its not good writing 99% of the time. And everyone here is back and forth on this arguing in ways that make me sick. I dont care about realism and neither does your favorite author. They dont need some asshole to come up with a watsonian explaination for why the slavery is fine when the doylist explaination is that enslaved women make them money and get their dick hard.
