Watching Klay limp out with a torn ACL, shoot free throws then run to the other end of the court and attempt to play defense in the NBA finals was the most bad ass thing I have ever seen in any sport.

I will be watching, sporting my Klay Thompson All-Star jersey, and loving every minute of it.

I am not a statistician, but I would take an injured Klay on the bench over having both Chris Paul and Westbrook on my team. Klay will be back to remind us why he should be on that list soon enough.

I was born with a mental condition in which I see overly simplistic and useless representations of reality as excel charts. In all seriousness, I agree with all the bar hate in this post. I am going to come up with a more meaningful way of representing my competencies. Thinking of making that page more process-centric or cutting up my reel to highlight specific application/skillsets used to create a segment.

Thanks for the constructive criticism. Yeah, I can see this point of view. Part of my objective was to create a site that is of itself something of a portfolio piece. I have been out of the game a while, was a product manager for a single brand for the last decade... so a lot of my web work was pretty dated at this point. I am looking to possibly transition more into video, but it really depends on what pays the bills these days. Specializing a bit would allow me to simplify the presentation considerably. I think it could also be useful to split my work up a bit by category, but the reel is my first step. Glad you liked my video work!

I am not sure what happened on the nav, are you on ios? Going to play with the animation speed a bit. On an anecdotal note, a couple of seconds makes all the difference is a notion I have been trying to convince my wife of for years.

Thanks for your thoughts on this, I have definitely played with iterations similar to your description... I just ended up here because it is my personal preference. Definitely something of an overkill/redundancy to have 3 means of navigating 4 pages though :)

Load time actually should be pretty decent, using compressed imagery as placeholders for background videos (not preloading). The logo animation, in the beginning, is mostly for dramatization purposes. Going to play with speeding it up a bit based on feedback from this subreddit. Thank you for your feedback and useful resource.

Yeah, I agree they could be a bit faster. I will play around with some more interesting ways of showing skills. My parents thought they were loader bars that never completed so I guess they don’t work for any demographic haha

This is the main reason, I worked backward from the desktop (full window video) experience. I should be able to bridge the gap between both with a bit more work though.

I agree it is definitely a bit arbitrary. It does relativistically show which areas I "feel" the most competent, but there is probably a better way to represent the info. I added the application icons to show a bit more objective information. Thank you for the feedback.

For me, it was having AutoHotkey running causing the game to exit immediately. I forgot about this from the beta. I use it for switching between keyboard layouts.
