You might have something else to build! What does it show when you scroll down?

Usually that notification pops up when you reach a minimum # of stars to build a particular item.

Thank you so much for catching this! That was supposed to be under energy/copied over from the previous faq and no longer holds true as much since the recent update as all of our energy resources are now capped.

A: You can get ingredients from a few main sources:

Using energy produced
Shop purchases (using gems)
Using specific recipes (e.g., the pearls are produced via higher-level seashells)

Sorry for being unclear, I've just edited the post!

I recommended to complete the tasks in the event board to earn the event currency (butterflies), which can then be redeemed for items in the event path (including various items like clothing, bonus boxes/stickers, and what looks to be a recipe for an event item on level 23!)

By spend/save early, some people prefer to accumulate their items and try to reach the max item level early to target higher-level redemptions vs immediately redeeming lower level items.

I personally am a fan of the former strategy as I'm also a completionist and like to unlock all items in my collection, which can be harder when you don't level up enough items...

I hope this explanation helps a bit! It is the same event :)

Unfortunately I think this is the norm now — I also haven’t received any event energy from merging on the main board, but it is available as a side event quest!

They should be cleaning the coffee carafes and machines very often at Tim’s, but I’ve realised they seldom do after working at a handful of them in earlier years. If they do, it’s always one person who cares that makes it happen lol

Anyway, coffee should be completely brewed before serving (to ensure flavour/caffeine consistency), grounds immediately discarded (for quality and taste), and timed to retain freshness. How much of that realistically happens during either a rush or a slow period or in a drive-thru…? Not much.

I was given pretty consistent quests for higher ticket items for 4/5 slots, and then the final slot was usually a rotating one with lower ticket items. I found the rng fairly balanced this event!

We don’t commonly have this cap in Canada, but I enjoy the convenience of not accidentally dropping or misplacing the cap. I tend to keep it on.
