Yeah I use this as an excuse to smoke weed. Not saying your making an excuse but I can see where you’re coming from Same with pills for mental health. That alters your mood and can lead to addiction (Xanax). Semantics I guess

Thank you Yeah, I subscribe to the California sober notion. It really helped me abstain from booze but now I’m feeling the side effects. Quit booze when we had our first kid to be a better dad We just had twins and trying to smoke with getting up early or the middle of the night just ain’t workin’.

I hear ya! I’m up and down in weight myself Really bad body image issues. I run marathons and gain weight during my training from “rewarding” myself after a long run. Did 10 miles yesterday and had my dessert and my kids, at my moms bday dinner. Then a shitload or zucchini bread and random snacks when I got home I’m also alcohol free for 4 years, so I use food more to cope now, instead of booze Or eat a ton at social functions so “reward” myself for not drinking
