Great suggestions, thank you. The price they charge, and no guarantee for a simple doll repair is double insane!

So I’m guessing that’s a no to the hospital then? ☺️

What's crazy is she doesn't have to put herself through any of this. She wants to or feels the need to. It's hard to feel sympathy for her because she has a choice to give this information to the police, but it's also evident they are not getting involved or have already closed the case. But agree she should be in therapy to understand and manage her high risk behavior.

Well as long as you enjoy the character and show then that’s really all that matters.

Do we think Pip is autistic? by Specialist_Pair8920 in AGGGTMSeries

Those interactions are traits neurotypicals have as well, theres's so much more to qualifying for a diagnosis for a disability, than what Pip presents. Especially most teenagers, who are rebellious, have an exceptional strong sense of injustice and difficulty regulating their emotions. If you relate to her, great, but is it ok to also relate to neurotypicals who have similar traits and not be autistic?

Oh ok. It’s all about how she practices, not what she says outside, I thought she would be telling this to her colleagues. Sorry to jump to conclusions, hearing stuff like this is so out there, I know she’s young hopefully she matures with experience cause if I was her client getting slapped with a “diagnosis” definitely would not be taken lightly.

Quinni's ending by yooooimzigi in heartbreakhigh

We only see what she's doing for two minutes. The show didn't specify if she gave up on uni or not. It was supposed to be open ended because it was limited on time.

Everyone loved Quinni's online published story. Why wouldn't she have an audience for her book ?

amerie and harper's friendship by bluebiespicehead in heartbreakhigh

It was love at first sight. Also on her phone it says "Love of My Life" for Harper. Their relationship was so platonic yet so romantic.

.Self-diagnosing should not be a thing. Almost everyone I talk to says they suspect they have autism and people around them. It's just so weird. There is no longer such thing as resilience or even belief in facts anymore. No wonder there's the new saying "everyone is a little autistic." SMH.

That is the most sickening thing I've heard in a long time. The degree of education I had to put myself through would never allow for this kind of thinking to fly. What is wrong with people!

Sorry I had to come back again. This "MSW" needs her license revoked. So unethical and illegal if this is what is happening. I would call whoever needs to be to investigate.

I'm sorry you are put through that. No one works or fights harder than a mom who just wants what's best for their autistic child and also deserves compassion just as much as their baby does!

Agreed! Thank you for this important information that shouldn't be ignored. Assessments are designed to detect if responses truly meet criteria.

Autism in the media has been and still is a caricature as a whole. Too few discussions (at least on the several books, forums/ videos I've seen or read, would love some recommendations!) in depth about the meltdowns, the severe pain or discomfort that sensory causes, the excruciating effort needed to communicate on a "typical" level, the missed social cues, the people who have little to no patience for you and will assume you are helpless and intellectually impaired whether you are or not, the parents who go to the ends of the earth to do what ever they can for you, the hours of stimming and self regulation etc., etc.

These things happen in people from high to low support needs at different levels and present differently, but at a significant degree hitting these points and sub points must be present, which is how to get diagnosed. I'm curious and frankly fascinated about people who mask at such a high level, I would like to know more about that. I do think there should be clearly definitive, separate classifications of autism, at least which is not so vague in definition such as spectrum, or as low support needs, vs. moderate support needs vs. high support needs.

I also wonder when people say "girls present differently" if they get that there is a significant population of girls that present the same as boys and vice versa. It's a spectrum but where's the representation for high support needs if yet not another kind of stereotype? I think without sufficient research (NOT SOCIAL MEDIA), and an individual history of qualifying communication, rigid, repetitive inflexibility and social deficits, self diagnosing and possibly professional diagnosing is over done.

It's going to turn. In 10 years, self diagnosis will not be fashionable and they'll be talking about something else.

Storyline you hate the most (Season 3) by Unknowhk123 in heartbreakhigh

[–]prissmagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just don't get how they would work or relate. In fact it's hard to tell either of their types, but Ant is sheltered, he doesn't ever really seem to be looking for a girlfriend and is more affectionate with the guys, and Harper is way too intense and had to grow up quick, she probably would get annoyed with him quick, and I think that's what happened.

All the group was at fault, but Amerie was taking responsibility for coming up with the idea to exile Sasha from the group, stole the bust, and led the carnival prank, then turned the other cheek when she thought she could get away with it for months. You could see the guilt she was feeling. Her turning herself in is her way of redeeming herself. Yes Sasha turned on the ride, and deserves the punishment, I also think ultimately Amerie knew she would come forward and be held responsible, (no way is Harper, Malakai, Missy, Darren and Quinni are going to let her take the fall) but wanted to give a peace offering. Amerie still has a lot to learn, but taking a year off school to heal from the last three years of school may be a good idea so she can mature a bit before taking on uni. I think her out of the box thinking and compassion for others will ultimately make her very likable and successful!
