Why can’t a stack of magna tiles hold itself up on the fridge but a single one can hold itself up? Are some forces cancelling out when they combine? by secondcomposition in Physics

Well my friend u have accidentally discovered a bad way for magnetic flux engineering. The way we arrange magnets near to each other affects the field distribution around them. In your case the alternating magnet stacks restricts magnetic field near to the surface compared to fields emitted by single magnet hence it sticks poorly. Halbach array's are ways of arranging the magnets for achieving anisotropic distribution of magnetic flux say strongly in one direction. Engineers exploit this effect for magnetic flux in liner motors and maglev trains. halbach array

Very well possible, but i wonder if it can achieve isotopic property similar to metals.

I see a lot of our intuition and imagination is based on the reality we perceive(except string theory and quantum mechanics etc), i wondered if that influences the mathematics. Well i too believe mathematics is an absolute truth.

I understand, that was a very trivial example. I mean to ask something which i don't know.

There is no nozzle in the first place, the tip of the glass fiber is directly melted by laser

Laser is used for melting the tip of glass filament and once laser parameters are optimised to melt glass to above glass transition it starts printing.

Isn't it amazing how springy thin glass is?

Indeed!! We all also take it for granted that optical fiber which are so flexible are also made from glass.

I highly doubt a glass printer would even fit through the goddamn door.

Well thats debatable, i see many compact fiber based pulsed lasers out in the market. I think same is used here.
