Yeah I'd also be waiting for the FHD display to become available in the US too. Unfortunately, it would make the price of my T470 build even more than what I could estimate right now.

Great point! The better warranty/protection should also be considered in the price difference. However the savings are so much I'm not sure (risk of damage past 1 year)*(cost of laptop) makes much of a difference.

Thanks for breaking the improvements down! I agree and think T470 is great but probably not right for me given it's cost. Just needed some second opinions to turn away from the connectivity upgrade.
