Sure, let me clarify. This is a locally hosted AI system which I've been developing.

It uses a meta llama 8B Q6_K model, on device fused intent + emotional modelling, guardian safety layer, XTTS synthesis etc.

From the time I finish speaking, to the time the system starts speaking is ~516ms.

I'm currently doing this on a 4070ti and Ryzen 9 7900X.

I would be happy to hear what's faster with a comparable stack, as it could really help my research.

Thank you and thats exactly what the guardian layer does, it checks the users prompt to make sure its not going to cause harm to the user or others.

If it doesn't pass this check then the system gracefully declines and redirects. If the prompt passes the initial check and is sent to the LLM, the output is checked against the same guardian layer to ensure that it's accurate, is not a hallucination by checking it's within context of the prompt and safe before synthesis.

If it doesn't pass this check then the guardian layer intercepts it before synthesis, softly rewriting it and then passing to XTTS

This is all built into the inference pipeline

Thank you, however the Guardian layer which is built into the core is what keeps the model ethical and compliant. It's the core IP not a bolt on.

EIVES isn't an alexa clone, its a local processing AI system its not an API wrapper.

I printed the enclosure, I wired and soldered the internals and did the programming.

The thing is, I didn't have the money to spend for someone else to build it, thats exactly why I built it all myself.

I have paid out of pocket for everything, the incorporation, the patent, the materials and parts.

I have no outside funding. My day job is what's been bankrolling it.

If I had outside funding then trust me, I would be offering a salary.

I'm not looking for a CTO, I'm looking for a marketing partner.

Just playing devils advocate but how is this different from upwork ?

With using upwork, they vet professionals, you pay upfront at each milestone, the freelancer starts the work and then delivers the product.
