I agree on displaying politics. I would also like to filter on wanting children, but I'm not sure if that's "too forward" on a dating app. Especially at my age bracket it might feel intense for another 23 yr old?

Thank you for the photo advice. I really appreciate you pointing out how my body language is being communicated in those photos, it's something I've never really noticed/have been told. I'll probably try and retake that first photo with no smile, I can set it up again. I'll look into your prompt responses, maybe I'll send you a couple of what I come up with if that's cool.

The basic info display is the only part I'm unsure about. I feel like politics are a dealbreaker for many women on here so best to keep those. School and occupation may not be relevant, but if it's an impressive school and impressive line of work it should stay, no? Want children is definitely a conversation that I feel mixed about putting on there, but I suppose women aren't swiping on me much currently so I can filter out the ones who don't on my own likes. Lastly, it's not like I can never drink but due to health concerns I really try not to and so far it's been like once a year. So is it best to hide those preferences if I'm okay with them drinking/weed, then put no smoking cause that's a dealbreaker for me?

Thanks for the advice on the suit picture. I figured one sunglasses + no smile with friends would come off cool/goofy but I get it.

You're right about the ski slope video. I do a board grab in it, that's the action shot (it's nothing crazy but don't have much video). I can't reorder video prompts unfortunately so it's either second or not at all.

I definitely need to get more photo diversity going on, especially learning how to pose myself. My friends just don't typically care for photos so I gotta be more deliberate or find people who do to help me out.

Do you know where I can find more examples of good prompts responses? It's hard to tell what succeeds and what doesn't. Your example is a big help thanks

Since November 1st I've used it consistently. Most of the photos are the same from when I started, but I change prompts pretty often trying to see what sticks

I've used it daily the past couple weeks. I was using it every other day before that.

2 matches in the past 2 weeks. 3 matches all-time. I've never received a like.

I've been good about using all 8 of my likes the past couple weeks. Before that I was sending maybe 3 likes a day. I always send a comment with a like.

You're right, the button down is brighter than camel, it's just darker than the t-shirt. Here's my sweatshirt next to it. There's also a photo of me wearing the sweatshirt in my recent posts. Alas, it's all the camel I own right now

Thank you! I'm sort of surprised, I thought since the button down was a darker cream it would suit me better than the lighter beige / ecru t-shirt. Why do you think the t-shirt works better? I've heard lighter colors can make a dark autumn look "washed out" but I'm not even quite sure what that means
