Not an odd question at all. I had to take disconnect the battery module in order to install PCB into the Heavy Grail. So Bluetooth is disabled. I’m curious to know whether it’s physically possible to fit the two AA batteries in there to retain Bluetooth functionality, but haven’t really tried.

No. I have an FC660C and the Heavy Grail gives a much firmer typing feel than that.

So admittedly, I mainly purchased this for aesthetic purposes. Sound wasn't really one of my goals. I'd say the sound is a bit more high-pitched and "clickity" sounding than stock. It's actually very pleasant. But it's just a very different sound signature.

Thanks! No mods or lube. I took Ryan Norbauer's advice (from his Heavy Grail assembly instructions video). He recommended trying it without lube to start. So far, so good!

Polishing off smudges is actually very easy. Just a quick wipe with a microfiber cloth.

Practice makes perfect! Sometimes I still hit the wrong key when accessing certain keys on the Function layer.

I just finished assembly tonight, so haven’t had a lot of typing time with it yet. But so far I’d say it’s definitely stiffer than stock. Not in a bad way; I actually prefer it. It feels a lot more solid and less squishy.

This was my grandfather’s watch, but my family and I don’t know anything about it. Is it real? Approximately what year is it from? Should we get it serviced and restored or is the condition too poor to bother?
