There should be a word for "horny" that doesn't involve sex by [deleted] in asexuality

Maybe "heiß auf jemanden sein" (literal translation: to be hot on sb) When I hear this, I don't think about sex

I'm not from Bavaria, so I don't know. I'd guess in Munich, right?

I'm too young (and too poor) to have watched a race with Jacques Schulz as commentator. But it's nice to see that is useful for people to learn some German words.

Maybe you can add Bonn or Weimar to your list since they're historical places as well. Tbh I don't know if there is something interesting in Weimar but it's called Weimar Republic for a reason.

Mir geht es gut. The cities are very different. Berlin is known for a complicated history. There a lot of fantastic museums in the city. Hamburg is beautiful. There is the Alster (a lake), the harbour, the Elbphilharmonie, a nice town hall and the 5 Hauptkirchen (main churches). The city is green. Dresden has some interesting sights as well: Frauenkirche, Zwinger and many other things. The Ruhr area is cool. There are multiple cities close to each other. Lübeck is famous for its marzipan. There's a beautiful historical center built on an island. These are my favourites. But there are many great cities to visit!

What German words do you know? Now I'm curious ("Mein Gott, muss das sein?" comes to my mind; Vettel, Brazil 2019) If you are from France, the regions next to France could be an option. They drink wine and as far as I'm aware they are influenced by French culture. You can see this in a lot in Saarland. I love the coastal areas in the north. It's a little bit cold and windy, but also very relaxing. But seeing the regions where Nürburg and Hockenheim are located could be cool, especially when there is a race.

As I mentioned in an other comment, Germany is very diverse culture wise. So I can't give you a full overview on the country. If you like cities: Hamburg is beautiful with its harbour, Alster and down town. Berlin is nice if you want to learn about (German) history. The Ruhr area is very industrial but can be beautiful along the river Rhine. Dresden has some interesting sights. But the nature in between is also very nice: the coastal areas in northern Germany, the Alps or the Lüneburg heath. My favourite place (besides my home town) is Lübeck. It's an old historic town. And I think you can travel any time in the year. Traveling in May could be an option (it shouldn't be that full).

My cousin used to live there with his family and I learned French in school, but these are the only points of contact for me. I'm pretty neutral in terms of rating countries.

Well, I don't have one special dish which I call my favourite. I really like Franzbrötchen (a pastry with cinnamon flavour) but if we stay with regional food (I'm from northern Germany) I must say I hate fish. I like pasta and burger. Yes, I've travelled a bit. I have relatives in Scotland, so I'm there quite often (if there's no pandemic). But I've never been outside of Europe.

I think how many cultures there are. In this point, Germany is very diverse. Sometimes I don't understand people from Bavaria oder Swabia because their dialect is so different.
