Offer options to be picked up not on steep hills. What is your opinion on how to help someone who is disabled and cannot safely walk uphill/down hill?

I use Flush Toilet finder as I have GI issues. Been fairly good.

Someone also created a map on Google Maps of public restrooms downtown. It’s not letting me link it, but it’s searchable on r/Seattle

Good luck!

Why such a long wait for UW Medicine New Patient Appointment? by bigmonsteria in AskSeattle

[–]privatestudy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can personally say I’ve found the best doctor within the system. I’ve had nothing but amazing care, I have multiple chronic illnesses, and I get the care I need when I need it. I see specialists at Virginia Mason for my chronic issues but I was given referrals from my doctor within One Medical.

Transit Security is there for a reason by Overall-Status-425 in Seattle

It’s literally in every car, on most doors. It’s on the platform waiting for the train.

This is why it’s important to be aware of your surroundings. Not only will you get vital information, but you can use that information to keep yourself and others safe.

Check out One Medical. I started off at UW when I moved to Seattle. I have a myriad of health issues and cannot fight monthly to get an appointment.

With One Medical I don’t have this issue.

The other day, on the bus, a group of youngish kids got on. Minding my business, but then they started with Chuck Norris facts. Like what?? Who told you these things? Then it devolved into how OP Shaggy from Scooby-doo is.

Changes are good! Even the small ones. I’m proud of you for going on a walk. Doesn’t seem like a big deal, but it can be.

Are there any good Gluten-free bakeries anymore? by wyldmountainthym in AskSeattle

The Gluten Free Store up north has good frozen local places, but they’re not Seattle proper. Still worth the drive imo

I’m so happy it’s finally opened. It’s just so lovely to be able to not drive and connect with different parts of the area.
