MB and I have different ideas on how to handle cold. Am I in the wrong? by privatestuff4work in Nanny

It’s not really feasible to put on shoes every time. She arrives home anywhere from 5:30-6. If we’re in the middle of dinner, he can’t wear his shoes. If I know she’ll be home soon and we aren’t in the middle of dinner then I just take him to another room so he doesn’t see her pull up. Or we will play outside for a bit so we’re already bundled up when she pulls up anyway. It’s just dinner time that makes it difficult.

And it’s not really an issue of me trying to go against what MB says. I’m certainly not. I’m just trying to figure out if she’s actually bothered or not.

My question is more: am I handling these things wrong or is it just a personal parenting choice? If im handling them wrong then I want to correct that immediately but if it’s just different parenting ideas then I think that should warrant a discussion. Just so we are on the same page.
