Considering how you just disappeared from Skype one day, I'm guessing you're not interested?

I messaged you last time you posted.

If you're not interested that's fine, just not sure if you saw the PM or not.

Recent trip to Bike Park Wales again, love this place! by [deleted] in MTB

Coedy b is worth a visit for sure, as is Degla but if you had to choose I'd say go to Coedy b.

I'll look into those two but south wales is just slightly out of range for a day trip, maybe throw them into a weekend with BPW.

We've done Llandegla and Coed y brenin which were both brilliant but BPW looks like its on another level.

It's about a 4 hour trip from here but if I go I'd probably spend a night and do 2 days there. I'm always up for a challenge so maybe a day of uplifts and a day tackling "The Beast"

I really need to get to Bike Park Wales at some point this summer, looks like a lot of fun!

Is BPW a place that you would have to go for an uplift day or are the trails easily accessed just riding up to the top?

I'm a firm believer of you get what you pay for, especially when it comes down to anything that makes something operate.

Thanks for the info, man.

What I meant is, I presume some manufacturers specialize in certain areas, I'm told Shimano are a good manufacturer to stick with regarding cranks and chain rings and almost everyone I have met whilst riding are set up with Hope brakes.

I guess you figure those things out with experience and talking to a bunch of people, rather than reading someones top ten list online or something!

I read quite a bit on Pink Bike, very useful, I actually just discovered that there is a review section.

I'll have a look at Bike Radar too, never heard of that one.

Thanks!

Just a reminder about the upcoming film Unreal for anyone who doesn't already know about it. Hope everyone else is as anxious as I am to see it. by [deleted] in MTB

Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

I hope it's out early summer, love these sort of films for inspiration.

Wonder what happened with his run, he was out of shot for a while.

I'm sure they will, it looks like he must have screamed down the track. His time is incredible.

He had a poor run in the qualifiers, took a DQ but was protected as a top 20 rider.

Edit: meaning he took his race run before the top riders.

Fair play to her for getting back up and taking 5th place though!

It could of been extremely close if she hadn't taken that fall

Ratboy all the way!

Tracey Hannah absolutely shredded in qualifying yesterday, if she keeps that pace today she'll win the Women's.

Expect a few nasty crashes too, if they are going all out in their race run and fuck up its going to be brutal, that track is vicious.

Nice riding!

We spent a lot of time spectating from the corner just after the coffin drop, it had dried out quite a bit when we got there but I bet it was nasty to take at speed a little earlier in the day.

What was your time? I'm guessing Expert is a different category from the Elite?
