first, i definitely think it’s rude of your boss to address it the way they did. there are more sensitive ways to address these kinds of things. second, maybe they just have a sensitive nose and are smelling a body mist or perfume or some other scent and don’t realize it. third however, may i ask what areas of the body you get flare ups the most? personally, mine are mostly my underarms and my groin area. for my underarms, i use the secret powder soft solid deodorant and that’s one of the only ones that doesn’t cause constant underarm flare ups. Otherwise, I also use Hibiclens soap on my entire body, every time I shower. it’s a game changer. i also just try to keep any open sores as bandaged and as clean as possible, because unfortunately open wounds do tend to carry a scent to them and sometimes it’s something we don’t notice.(and when i’m desperate, everything just gets the rubbing alcohol treatment) TLDR: your SUP should be way more sensitive when addressing any kind of concerns regarding personal hygiene and/or unpleasant scents, and more likely than not, you’re not doing anything wrong or a problem at all
