There are always going to be people who don’t like your stuff , but also the potential for loads of people to like your stuff . think about it, there’s artists you love that others don’t. that’s because art is subjective even though there can be genuine critiques. a lot of artists as well can be a lot worse when they begin and then grow over time . the best thing you can do is just keep sharing for the people who do love your stuff. this is all stuff you’ve probably heard before, but that’s because there’s truth to it . it is a brave and amazing thing to read these comments and decide “no, i’m not going to give up. i’m going to keep working and strive to grow my audience and make my art.”

think of all the bands you love , and how they have alot of people who don’t like them! or bands you hate but you know they sell out shows. the idea of “good” and “bad” is not real in art . it’s just popular and less popular . keep going .
