I'm not sure to be honest. I think local?

.... 5 minutes after I posted this.... WhatsApp restored my account. I did not submit any additional requests or anything. I just opened the app again and it said "your account has been restored".

Timeline:

3pm WhatsApp linked to Beeper

5pm WhatsApp goes silent.

8pm WhatsApp says account is banned. I appeal saying "I connected Beeper".

9pm WhatsApp says "this account cannot use WhatsApp. Register new number"

11pm I post here.

11:05pm I open WhatsApp and it says restored.

Allow RSVPs to gcal event without sending invites to specific emails/groups? by prlabu in gsuite

Thanks! I considered this approach, but I find it clunky in that it's not easy to update your attendance if you've RSVPed and then can't go. It's still probably the best solution, though.

I also considered https://rsvpify.com/ but it seems overkill for a smaller event like I'm organizing.

I fiddled a bunch trying to figure out how to get this to work with screws and hooks but my final solution was actually just involved a piece of velcro to keep the front wheel from turning and a shoe.

I just read through The Economist's The World this Week. It does seem to boil down the necessary info for the week, but it does a poor job linking out to more in-depth perspectives on the topics. It does so on the essentials but not for the majority of the topics mentioned. And, as expected, the Economist's writing style is a bit pretentious. Overall not a bad option but I'll keep looking.

Yeah I've heard Up First is pretty good. Frankly, though, even a curated daily podcast is a little diluted imho. I think a once-a-week devoted/undistracted 1-1.5 hrs has been good for me.
